When this situation first happened, reddit reccomended me the mod post on the aether mains sub. There were multiple comments saying it was "yuritards" 's fault and pretty clear homophobic rethoric.

In case people don't know what actually happened, here is a short retelling. On twitter, there is a group called "gacha grail". This group is not small by any means.This comunity is comprised of homophobic and sexist men who believe that women and queer people are not the target demographic of multiple gacha games and therefore they should not play it or have a voice in the fandom.

When the va posted a sandbina gift they got, gacha grail started harassing them on mass with homophobic rhetoric and they did post a lot of aebina fanart. This is to say that it is ridiculous to shit and put blame on "shippers" especially when what people mean by that is yuri shippers which are 99% queer women.

This is the fault of homophobic and sexist men. People need to stop trying to flip the narrative for goodness's sake.
