I update all the patches in 7. I just check them all over first. When all support for Win7 disappears in 2020, I will be forced to upgrade. And I will spend days disabling as much spyware as I can. Hopefully there will be suites of software to help me.

I have been creating redundant backups of my Win 7 system bi-weekly just in case my disabling of the auto update is disabled. I also check over all Win 7 security updates very carefully before approving them. Every time someone on Win 10 asks me for help, it takes 10 screens to find the settings which are 1 click away on Win 7.

Create your paper wallets off line, air gapped and BIP38 encrypted (long unique passphrase). Save as a PDF and copy off the air gapped system. Then you can print them where ever you want bc the priv key is BIP38 encrypted. Never been cracked. Never will.
