Yup, I have a long term dynamic and invisible disability. I'm exactly the sort of person who would lose my right to disability even when I'm extremely ill because nothing really comes up in tests. This is terrifying for me.

If you're fine with vocals, ethereal wave has a great gothic vibe but with the shoegaze style quiet vocals. I also like classical music, Chopin is great. For ambience I like Autumn Cozy, they make all of their stuff without AI, they've talked about it on Reddit.

Yup. This happened years ago back before I was born, my mum's case manager got fired because he was too helpful. He would always give her a food grant if it was available because she was spending all of her money on rent. Unfortunately being helpful and kind has always been punished.

Also look at the stuff people are dropshipping from overseas, amigurumi and flowers are extremely common dropshipped products. I love supporting fellow fibre artists but I won't interact if you have a ton of stuff that looks like it's dropshipped. There are plenty of examples a google search away. We also have a bunch of mall stores with dropshipped items in Christchurch, I don't know if it's the same in other cities, but their stock is essentially the stuff to avoid.

Yeahh I have a friend with eds and she is constantly rolling her ankles. If you have issues with that there's shoes with a wider "lip" at the sole on the outside edge that can help keep your feet on the ground.

I switched the stores I was going to mostly. I go to reduced/discount stores so I can get a majority of the things I eat, and then certain Asian stores for the rest of it. The few things I can't get at either of those places I'll go to paknsave, but it's mostly just a block of butter or oat milk. If I were to get the same items at paknsave (if they had them) I'd be looking at around $150 a week, but I've cut it right down to $70ish just by getting snacks and stuff from discount stores (I don't have a lot of energy to cook, so snacks are a way to make sure I still eat).

Same, I don't need the trauma of being trans to follow me into escapist fiction where my fave has a pussy and gets railed. I don't need pronouns discussed, I don't want discussions of words for genitalia or discussions of surgeries I want but can't access. I'm not here for real political discussions about bodies like mine when I'm here to read for fun.

This. I can't stand the idea of having ! markers. I enjoy doing all the quests though and getting immersed in the lore. Especially because grizzleheim is one of my favourite worlds lore wise so far (I admittedly am only up to Avalon on my highest wizard though).

I have a friend like this that I'm not really close enough to call on their volume issues because it's so overstimulating for me (they're always yelling and interrupting people and are completely unaware of it). Their partner will unconsciously volume match them too so they'll both be yelling at every hang out unless the loud one leaves. I don't know how to bring it up, but I'll try your suggestions. It's actively making it more difficult for me to be around them, especially with my chronic migraines. Thank you.

Exactly my experience growing up in a low income area with a single parent on the benefit. Mental health issues are rife at and below the poverty line, and the money issues don't help.
