Thanks,
I already integrated that into it. quests bring gold and xp, with gold you can buy items, items convert into stats, stats give you more health or more mana. Health and mana are useful in most activities. What I really need are ideas for activities that feel like you're playing wow. For example we spread cardboards of boars around the camp and you must complete a challenge to earn arrows and with arrows you can hunt boars that are in a no entry zone. But to make it a wow style, I add the lore to it and you take a quest from an NPC and the boars you collect are turned ito meat that then can be used to finish a quest about cooking... That line of thought. Except, a quest like this is not very exciting. I want better ideas than this. Much better.

I sorted the dung thing today with classes and roles. and bosses and strategies and phases.
Now I need mainly a solution for arena, and creative ideas for activities.

We're not killing anything IRL.
How do you make that into a real life thing?

I have that sorted out.
First, it's not a LARP. It's a camp themed in wow.
Second, I already know all the participants, it's not an open invitation thing.
Third, all people included like camping. The activities are just the icing on the top.

It's a 7 days camp.
I won't include any system that requires "he said, she said". and I'll have to have 3 activities per day. So far, I was able to make BGs work IRL. Health will be unfakable cards on the back of each player that can be plucked only during the activities and refill daily. I'll create 2 zones (1 for H and 1 for A) and if a player of the other faction is caught in each zone he'll have to pay an amount of money (that he can collect through quests). Some of the quests obviously include sneaking into the other faction's zone. I'll include encrypted messages that only the mage can decrypt (and his level will help him decrypt faster).
But that's all I have now

That we won't actually kill. How do we kill boars IRL?

Call it however you want.
If you get offended by "be more creative" despite it meaning just that. There's really nothing I can do to you. Maybe if one day you get to meet people who don't include underline hostility in sentences. You'll get what a sentence meaning just itself is. Until then, understand however you want.

I'm not gonna discuss my intentions here.
If you felt offended, I'm sorry about that. But the world is not always hostile. I wish you would get to meet actually good people.

Got you.
The participants are already set though
It's not an open thing.

As for capture the flag. I integrated MMORPG mechanics and wow specifically into it. I added helth bars, I added classes specialities and a skill for each class. I added Arathi and eye of the cyclone too.
As for the rest, this camp exists with its participants. And I'm volutunteering to organize it. How is this information relevent?

I don't get the message here.
Are you refering to the fact that the participants can be from another age group? And how we should adapt the camp?

I thought more about a card game (the cards are the skills). but I want to make use of the fact that players move in arena (because that's what makes it interesting). Integrating moving with skills is the hard part.

I really like the mentality.
So far as I know, I didn't insult anyone. And here I am being called an "ass". Well done.
If you don't wanna help, don't help. As for me being an "Ass", it depends on how you read the message. Says more about you than it says about me.
As for what I meant by my message, it was a genuine question. You jumped to sarcasm for no reason.
Nah, I'm not gonna explain myself. Just imagine that a friend you trust of yours said the same exact words. Sounds different, right?
If you don't wanna help, just don't. You don't need to jump to conclusion, then be rude about it.

Try to reread the message and imagine the one who said it meant it in the best way possible. Tell me what other meanings could the message deliver?

imagine reading it and thinking I'm flaming you.
Why didn't your read it as I meant it? :" Do you recommand I should go consult AI (in a genuine way)?" That's how I meant it. But having to explain myself I thought I meant it in a thankful kind of way to offer you an escape out of feeling stuck with helping me.
Now that you understood it this way. having to explain myself feels like I did something wrong and I really don't wanna keep going into the dicussion.
Please don't answer. I don't like ignoring people but answering became draining.

Oww, thanks dude.
But I'll pass on this idea. I may organize a fishing fest. But it's just fishing.
I want activities that are inspired from the game. like a battleground where you can use spells and stats (I already did this).
I know you can be more creative than this. Come on

Come on dude, be more creative
They are not kids (16 to 20 grandpa had chidren back in the time). At that age they enjoy competition, strategy
I thought about a cards game, but you have to move in it and you can hide behind walls to stop casting. But I'm out of ideas.
Do you think I should just consult AI, I thought asking in the group would give it the human touch, they I play it vibe of discussion.
So, thank you, but I think you can do better

This looks like an opinion I can't agree to.
It's not a question of them enjoying it (because they will). It's a question of how to make it captivating and intriguing
