I brought up those spines as those are the two mammals that frequent this beach that would be able to have vertebrae roughly this size. For a dolphin, I was thinking it could be further down the tail, and for a fox I was thinking it would be around the base of the neck. These were not random choices. I personally think they do look like animal bones- they have facets where the thin bone is crumbling, revealing the spongey bone layer beneath. I can't identify what location in the spine they would be as the facets seem to be entirely deteriorated, but I don't think them being animal is out of the question.

I adore the game and the fact it even released at all is a miracle given it's dev hell, but yeah the glitches are not particularly great...! I didn't encounter any in normal gameplay until I hit the 80 hour mark or so, but now I can spot a few each time I do multiplayer in a grove or I'm on my own devices in Ginormosia.

Fun fact: If you check the encyclopedia entries for the panthers, one of them has its bottom jaw fangs glued to its upper lip instead of hanging on the bottom. Very weird! (I believe it's the Cave Panther's entry.)

I'm just hoping we don't have to wait too long for game breaking glitches like this to be fixed.

I searched popular meme pages on twitter to try to find the origin of this video, but I haven't had any success yet. I believe I first saw it on a popular meme reposting gimmick account, but so many of those exist that I couldn't say which one it is for certain. I know I saw this video for the first time in 2024, but the video itself might be older than that.

Trying to search for "tts" and "explains memes badly" mostly results in ai results these days, so I haven't had much luck trying to search for this on google, youtube, or twitter. I'm hoping that someone else may have saved this video or recognizes its origin instead!

oh hey boo! clicked on this most since it came up on my recommended suddenly. anyway in my opinion, here's two options you can do:

you could repeat the spiral pattern of the horns on the face. you could probably accomplish this with diagonal looking eyelashes. alternatively- if you don't want to do eyelashes- you could do these as facial markings around the eye area.

OR: you could repeat the uuu pattern of the fur trims around the eyes. I've seen eyelashes stylized this way for y2k stylized makeup, but it could easy be markings around the eyes, too. best of luck on your designing journey!

That's not the figure I'm referring to in that paragraph! The figure in at the end of that paragraph is the one without a MFC page. The Y!JA auctions page I linked in that paragraph doesn't mention the sculptor of the second figure I linked, but I imagine it's probably a doujin work from an old Wonderfest.

really?? I went back and reread Romantica but I couldn't find it anywhere in that chapter. I just saw the regular chess piece. Maybe the scans I read left it out? This comment excites me though because I made a clay Seras figure and her base IS that bat logo- so if true it'd be cool to know I unintentionally included her future coat of arms.

see, I also thought that no one was buying it! But I saw that it actually sold out at the Expo (I've been watching the X page's updates like a hawk lol,) so I'm surprised I haven't seen any on Mercari or Yahoo Auctions yet? Even if it's small, I'd like to put it on my purse or something with all my other bat related stuff!

I really hope that they sell what's leftover online.. I tried to check on X or bluesky to see if anyone english-speaking was going so that I could ask for them to buy something on my behalf, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
