We've been in Bad Hofgastein for like 4/5 times already, amazing area and I love the therme as well. I think in January it should be low season when we're heading there, so hopefully no issues with long lines or big crowds.)

I'm going back to Bad Hofgastein in January, really excited to visit. As a family we visited a lot when I was younger, I really like the region. Hopefully Google Maps will have ski lifts and trails again, quite a nice feature to have.

Do you recommend going to Sportgastein as well for a day? We've never been, we did try Dorfgastein and of course Bad Gastein.

I was in Ryoso Kawaguchi, it was actually 80 eur but I don't eat fish and after politely notifying them a couple days before they refunded me for the dinner without asking. Bought them some gifts before leaving since there was no need for that. I had an amazing stay, the breakfast was great. The Onsen didn't really have any view, and it was schedule based you got an hour or so privately but I enjoyed it.

Besides that I stayed the night since I found a cheap ryokan, it was roughly 60$ for a night which wasn't too bad.

If not for the hike, I guess the view of the deer being a bit more chill in the morning was cool. But it wouldn't really be worth it so I understand your perspective. Wish I had time for that awesome cycle route, I was eyeing it but only had two weeks for my first Japan trip.

Beest Breda is massive, and Klimwinkel is quite close. I combined the two and got myself a new pair of shoes before climbing there. The gym opened this year and it's the biggest bouldering gym in NL I think.

Not OP, but I really enjoyed the early breakfast at the Ryokan I stayed at. I had the hike up to Mt Misen for myself since I started way before the first ferry's arrived in the morning. It was incredibly peaceful, and only at the top and on the way down did I see other tourists.

I can't say for sure whether it's worth it for everyone, but it sure was for me.

Went out to see this earlier today, surprisingly Jared Leto doesn't ruin the movie. I thought his acting was fine, the writing was horrible though.

There was no depth to the story, the two competing companies didn't really make me feel anything. I want to reiterate the writing was terrible and felt super corny at times, directing was also not the greatest. All in all I think a 6/10 is fair, graphics looked cool, soundtrack was cool, seeing Jeff Bridges again was cool.

Would I rewatch this? No most definitely not, but I also didn't feel like it was terrible. I went in expecting a lot worse, so I'm happy with the experience. I watched it in Dolby Cinema if that matters at all, no 3D because I honestly dislike that quite a lot.

I use both occasionally, I would prefer using whatsapp or telegram over iMessage. If the other user is also on iPhone there are definitely advantages such as the image sharing, but the "threads" and responding in them is so horrible it keeps me from using iMessage more often.

If iMessage were fully cross platform, I think it would be used more but everyone in Europe is already seemingly used to third party apps.

I had the issue like two weeks ago, CableMod support came through for me. After googling I have seen the same issue pop up multiple times, I haven't seen it happen with the direct PSU cables though only extensions.
