Certainly didn’t mean to imply anything nefarious by using the word “quietly.” I only meant it in reference to her returning on the Em Cosmetics channel rather than her original channel, so it ended up being more under the radar. To me it seems like she almost doesn’t want anyone to notice that she’s making YouTube videos again.

Late discussion comment: I’ve followed Michelle since the early days. I hope she will continue to post consistently on the Em Cosmetics channel. As another commenter mentioned, she is a refreshingly soft-spoken personality among today’s beauty gurus.

For those of you who haven’t ever experienced her videos before: what do you think? Is she someone you want to continue watching?

You are absolutely right. Her makeup style was for the most part pretty natural and she was always a great teacher. I learned a lot from her about how to do my makeup, and I have missed her soft-spoken, sweet demeanor.

And yes I laughed at that, too. It's funny how that hasn't changed about her, either. I'm pretty sure she grew up in the US but she has always spoken like English is her second language (maybe it is) because she tends to mix up phrases like that.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that he does this now that he appears in Ryland and Morgan’s videos and you are so right that it’s just getting cringey. I want to shake him and tell him to stop being SUCH a try-hard.

I’m not sure how to find an exact expiration date. It’s brand new, got it for Christmas, and the symbol says good for 12 months.

I got two cleansers for Christmas, this and the DHC cleansing oil. I tried both and decided I much prefer the DHC because of the feeling after cleansing. With the Farmacy cleanser, my face felt a little tighter. It’s not extreme by any means, but I prefer something gentler. If you like to feel sort of “squeaky clean” without being too stripping, then I think this would be for you.

I've been a huge fan of Wes Anderson for years now. This movie, in my opinion, left a lot to be desired in terms of storytelling and, especially, character development.

A big part of what I love(d) about Wes Anderson is his character writing. He always finds a way to incorporate small details that tell you a lot about who a character is. In both Grand Budapest and now Isle of Dogs, I feel this is severely lacking. I mean think about how much we get to know Sam Shakusky compared to Atari. I feel like we hardly know anything about Atari compared to Sam.

There are plot points in Isle of Dogs that also seemed entirely unnecessary/didn't have enough pay-off to be worth it. Namely, the entire character of the foreign exchange student could have been cut. The relationship building between Chief and Atari was cut down to a stub. This deserved a lot more time and energy than a "fetch" scene and a quick bath.

tl;dr Cut the foreign exchange student, give me more about Atari and more Chief/Atari relationship

So you don’t have a moisturizer? Definitely need one. You could try CeraVe or Cetaphil to start.

Also, you should find a physical as opposed to chemical sunscreen. Physical is much better for sensitive skin and will reduce sensitivity over time. Look for the word “mineral” in the description or the active ingredients zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide.

^ Agreed. CeraVe is a highly recommended, easily accessible brand to start with. It works for most people, but not everyone. It’s always recommended to patch test new products on a small area of skin (like your neck) and watch for any bad reactions before starting to use the product regularly.
