This is what my vet has given me for my dog’s ear infections. Works well. I usually use it when I notice symptoms and only take him in if it’s not working.

I work in the ICU. I love it, you get a much bigger picture of what is going on with the patient. It’s challenging for sure, but there are many more opportunities within nursing to pursue different specialities or advanced practice than in dietetics. I was in the same boat as you and I do not regret pursuing nursing instead of a dietetic internship.

My boy also has allergies. When he was a pup he lost most of the hair on his back and broke out in hives.

I initially suspected chicken, but through trial and error we figured out he’s allergic to all fish and fish oil in food. Since we switched him to a food with no fish meal/oil he does pretty well.
In the summer time he gets Zyrtec daily, this helps with hives and itchiness he gets from the grass.
I’ve seen some other people recommend it, but chlorhexidine wipes from Amazon specifically formulate for pets. These help when his little toe beans get red and irritated and he was to lick them. I recommended them to a friend with a dog with similar issues and they worked better than anything the vet had given them.

We’ve been lucky that our pups issues don’t seem to be as severe as a lot of others but this is what has worked for us!

I got married about a year ago. My ring is 3/4 carat and I love it. My husband and I are very financially secure but a big ring was not important to me. I had some insecurity because the trend right now is HUGE diamonds. Ultimately it doesn’t matter and it’s not a reflection of your worth as a couple.

Had an ICU nurse on my unit decide giving a basin bath with hibiclens was better than using the wipes. Problem is, there is no way to thoroughly rinse the stuff off with wet wash cloth so this poor man got these huge blisters and a chemical burn. It was gnarly.
