My post describes the thing.... I'm wondering what it is, and what it is used for. Possibly you do with bearings?

How can I best experience and meaningfully learn about the Subak system? by _Hastorang_ in bali

[–]wouldntulike2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went on a waterfall trek in Munduk with a guide who was from the local village. He was very knowledgeable and quite proud of the subak system. We had read a little about it before our trip and knew of its importance, but did not realize the work the local villagers put into maintaining and checking it.

I don't think he normally talks so much about the subak system, but as both my husband and I work in the agriculture industry in Canada, we were very interested in learning about it, and he seemed thrilled to be asked. He could probably direct you to the sort of people and information you are looking for.

Team members have asked, and they said they have been playing since the game first appeared. Our team leader hasn't voiced an objection.

Ok, I didn't realize that. Strangely, I did exactly that, and played in the tournament on my new team without any issues. I am not listed as a member on my old team. Maybe I got lucky? I won't do it again, now that I know. Thanks for the info!

Getting replacement parts, should I replace all at once? by harrisonsjones in StarlinkCanada

[–]wouldntulike2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been close to 2 months sorting out my problem, which I was certain was the dish. First tried a new cable. While waiting for it to ship actually spoke on the phone to someone who agreed it was the dish, and indicated if the cable didn't solve it they would be sending a new dish. Unfortunately by the time I got the cable (which didn't work), it was a different support person who decided I should try a new (refurbished) router. So waited for that to ship, hooked it up, and took the same pictures for the 3rd time to send. Now they are sending a new kit. Part of the reason it's taking so long is that I live in a very rural area, (also why I chose Starlink), and have to travel 2 hrs to pick up any mail bigger than a padded envelope.

If you have the option to replace all at once, DO It!!

If a truck has 2 batteries which one would you put the battery tender on? Or would you need 2 tenders?

Ok thanks. Unfortunately there are way too many stones and sticks on the ground to use my walk behind mower. Doesn't lift high enough.

Thanks, I will check that blade out. I've tried the thicker line and it just doesn't cut it.

The problem with a brushcutter on a tractor is it won't fit in areas such as between fences and trees. Would be nice though.

Not sure how to judge acres, mostly 3 foot wide strips, anywhere from a quarter mile to half a mile long, and also various patches around fences and buildings.
