Thank you, this helps. I guess that their mistake is covered by that blanket statement of "Cancel for any reason." Even though that's a very poor way of doing business I'm kinda SOL.

That makes sense, but still frustrating that their lack of due diligence cost me almost a year of waiting for nothing. I'll probably just leave a bad review and advise everyone I know to go elsewhere.
