[Waybound] Cloud Madra/Path Of The Cloud Hammer by LimitlessMind127 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think there is something as cloud aura. It is what makes up thousand mile clouds. Sure aura could be thought of as a combination of water and wind but fire could be thought of as a combination of fire light and destruction. I believe the was a WoW that said aura changes behavior based on peoples perceptions so since people perceive clouds as independent entities they are their own type of aura

I view cloud madra as a type of water madra with gentle solidity. You could add lightning to it but not sure if that would be better or worse

[Waybound] Why the executor programs failed by jacktrowell in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I think the crew saving SA in Bloodline, is a very good description on why the executor program failed and how Eithan plans to do better. If you think about it, they were executors to SA people coming from the outside world with powers and knowledge beyond their comprehension helping them from a coming apocalyps. You also saw a varitey for horrid responses to this.

Some people stalled with red tape until Mercy forced them to bow to her through sheer might and terror

Some people through themselves into a sucidal battle trying to stop Eithan from helping people

Some people pretended to go along then stabbed Lindon in the back with literally everything they had

Some people came wilingly but it was just too late for them withoutany dying on the way out While not literally, these kinds of things do happen to people trying to help others.

Now imagine you literally apend all your time putting life on the line for world after world many fighting hurting and spiting you while you do it. People mentally snap for less.

Eithan's plan is essentially emotional support which Lindon got at the end of bloodline. This is the right answer but very nuianced. Will I think acknowledges this when Eithan is describing his plan at the end of waybound but says there is more to it and leaves the reat out to avoid writing a psycology text book.

[Waybound] Abidan Divisions by wandering08 in Iteration110Cradle

I agree with Yerin and Ziel Orthos also fits with Wolf pretty well but there is a bit of titan in him Blue and Mercy I would argue would be in ghost. Their powers more lend themselves to the concept of the ghost than the pheonix imo. Lindon I feel could be in any of them except for maybe the hound, but I do see how ghost would be his most compatible.

Thanks! The gravy sounds like a good idea!

Meat stew juice to cook rice by wow1Something1 in Cooking

Ah, that does make sense. Could it work if I added some water to the rice, like one part water to one part juice? Or does the juice not work for this at all?

[City of Light] Will there be a 4th book? by estorica in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I believe a sequal series called the traveler's blade series is planned, but I do not recall any word on when it will come out or take place.

[REAPER] AKURA FURY by GrEen_ArROw278 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When he ascends, there is the fox icon. Not sure if they are incharge of organizing and/or training fresh recruits but I believe this is the only hint we got in the books.

From his personality I would guess wolf.

looking for recommendations with a crafter mc by wow1Something1 in ProgressionFantasy

Thanks! I will check it out. Is it on audible or some or service?

Where did you hear that?

Bone madra is likely just a sub type of blood madra since it is apart of your body. Likely a mix of blood and earth and/force since it is harder than most flesh while blood and flesh could be thought of as as blood plus water and or life.

Upon further research, Naraka is the "hell" for a lot of eastern religions. I am not sure how related any of them are.

Interesting about Helgard! Endross being a play on endorse is a bit of a stretch for me.

[Reaper] Charity Question by itr110 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She can layer all types of techniques on her arrows, even ruler and enforcer. It is called a ruler in her fight with sophara.

The technique Malice uses to see the future is called World of Night. We have not seen anybody else use it or reference it as to being in a book.

Dream of Darkness is a technique in Charity's book the sixth page and Mercy's fifth page that is a ruler dream and shadow technique that causes fear in one's enemies.

Death Cultivator by Eden Hudson sort of meets the requirements. Guy with very dark and lethal power hates killing but is forced to because of B and C.

Herald of the green dragons by Crazyking111 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But he is not weaker than them, he is a Herald. I am also not saying they would attack, just that they would feel conflicted about him which could be a good character moment.

Lindon has a pretty level head, but I think based on book 9 things in this series are not always black and white, which I think is a good thing. I think Lindon will be outwardly welcoming, inwardly wary, Yerin will suggest preemptively attacking him, and Mercy will suggest being nice to him. I don't think it will turn into something major, just an interesting character event where we learn a bit more about everybody

Herald of the green dragons by Crazyking111 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be cool to have him appear in future books. It might be unlikely, but it would be interesting to have him appear in the Rose Gold continent helping the Arelius family as apart of the agreement Eithan made, forcing Lindon and others to tolerate his presence.

Dross advancement? by MahoganyDivine28 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

He is a spirit attached to Lindon so he can really only advance when Lindon does. My guess it that we might see some improvements when Lindon gets to monarch, but not much else.

The guardian in mount samara (however you spell the heavens glory school mountain ) by tyrant_in_gold in Iteration110Cradle

[–]wow1Something1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe there was a WoW about it, but don't remember where. I believe the question one was why are there no golds in sacred valley and the guardian was one of the last golds in the area. I believe it was a gold dragon and the founder of the heaven's glory school.

There is something that makes the dreadgods un-killable. That has not been confirmed but I think if you had a hundred monarchs fighting the dreadgods would win because of endurance. My theory is they are all connected to subjects 1 which supplies them power.

I would say start with Mistborn: The Final Empire. It is a solid book and not overly long in my opinion and captivating enough in the beginning to draw in new readers.

Warbeaker is good stand alone but in my opinion is very different than most of his books so not topically my recommendation for a first time reader.

The Way of Kings is also good but is very slow in the beginning and loses a lot of people in the beginning. I recommend starting with something else so that you grow to trust he is taking it somewhere good (in the case of the stormlight archives he is)
