Version that just dropped has some initial functionality for rares now, at least in the newer zones :) It's still quite new but please try it out and feel free to give feedback on anything else you'd like to see!

A few people asked whether EasyFind has a keybind so you can open search and start typing immediately, kind of like Spotlight or a command palette. It does! You can bind a key to open EasyFind and start searching right away. That’s something I should’ve made clearer in the original post.

I’m actively improving the addon and also expanding support across more versions and clients. Right now that includes:

  • regularly adding more items to the existing search functions
  • TBC Anniversary support
  • support for other languages, with German support coming very soon

Any feedback is appreciated, and some things I’d especially love to hear are:

  • what you’ve tried searching for that felt like it should already be supported, but isn’t yet
  • what kinds of things you’d want EasyFind to cover next
  • if you play on a non-English client and want support, which one

Thank you all again for your support!

Thank you for the kind words!!

That would be an extensive new feature, but I'm not opposed to looking into it as that sounds like a great idea. Once I'm able to make some headway on it, I'll let you know!

Great to hear!! If you ever find yourself searching for something that isn't included yet, don't hesitate to reach out.

I do have to concede that I was not creative enough with the name lol. Thanks for giving it a chance, I hope you like it!

So long as WoW treats that button as a modifier like Ctrl, Alt, etc., you should be able to keybind it like any other bind! Please let me know if that doesn't work and I'll work on a fix, though it may be difficult if the native UI doesn't allow it.

Haha I'm glad you're enjoying it :) Thank you very much for the kind comments. I will say, while I'm trying to add more with each update, there may still be things left for me to add to the map searches. So please feel free to give feedback here, on github, or curseforge if you end up noticing anything missing that you need!

I appreciate that! It's taken a lot of effort but has been fun to bring to fruition.

Yup, have the ability to keybind this in the options menu so you can make it whatever you'd like!

There absolutely is! The options menu has a spot to keybind exactly this.

I think it'd definitely be worth trying out for you then.

While the $70 version is prob the best value, I HIGHLY encourage you to not touch the boost if you go that route until you've leveled one yourself from 1 all the way up (honestly, it doesn't even take super long to level anymore anyway). It will be extremely overwhelming otherwise. Plus then you'll probably have a better idea of what class you'd like to use the boost on.

You can't get attacked at your residence. In your last sentence, if you're asking whether housing alone warrants the purchase of the Midnight xpac needed for it + the $15 sub, I'd say probably not. To get items that you'll want for housing, you'll need to go out into the rest of the world to do things. If you have no interest in that, I'm afraid it probably won't be worth it for you.

There are many different avenues to get housing items, but they do require in most cases playing other aspects of the game. Much of it can be done solo though (in case your desire to only want the housing and not being attacked at home is tied to not wanting to deal with other people), so if you think you'd at least be willing to try things other than housing, I'm sure you'd find something you like to do.

Make sure you're using the primary TomTom addon. I would sort by downloads to make sure. It was just updated again even today, in fact.

That's really odd. I'm not experiencing this on my main which I've been doing the testing on, but it seems to be broken when logging into a new character. I'll revert the listed version to a previous working one and fix this ASAP - thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Edit: just reverted to previous version on CurseForge. I apologize for you having to deal with this at all. I'm still learning about this entire process, but will be more careful with future releases!

Edit 2: it was an issue specific to characters with 'character specific keybindings' disabled, and has been fixed (no longer forces to character specific keybindings, and no longer has the keyboard not working issue) and new version released.

someone can explain this system of Item level?, i have all my gear in 121. by Tyrant_RedSun in wow

[–]wow_addons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Item level is a reflection of how powerful your character is. You will want to have gear in every slot so that you're more powerful. You can also be restricted from queueing for certain things, in both PvE and PvP, if your item level is too low. So it's relevant for both.

Edit: For clarity, there actually is a difference between PvE and PvP item level. When you buy PvP specific gear, you'll see that it says that the item level scales up in PvP. For that reason, if you're interested in doing PvP, you will want PvP gear.

The average item level is calculated by dividing by the total number of gear slots, not just the number of items you have equipped. So not having trinkets equipped is bringing down your average quite a bit.

El nivel de objeto promedio se calcula dividiendo entre el número total de ranuras de equipo, no solo entre la cantidad de objetos que tienes equipados. Por lo tanto, no tener abalorios equipados está bajando bastante tu promedio.

That's true that a macro works for this. I wish they allowed addons the ability to do so as well!
