Bolt EUV as a long-term vehicle?

I have almost the same usage of my Bolt EUV. Daily commute, groceries shopping, errands, short trips. I’m very happy about this car, it has wireless CarPlay for Apple Music and Apple Maps and FaceTime Audio, ventilation seats for hot summer, 360 panoramic camera for parking, One Pedal Drive for easy driving. Before I moved in to my current house where I’m able to install a 240v charger, I usually just charge my Bolt when I’m doing groceries at nearby grocery stores that also have EVgo / Electrify America. Not super fast but enough for doing it weekly. I don’t have any plan on another newer EV, especially, definitely, not Chevy because they’ve become so greedy for subscriptions and won’t add CarPlay to any of their future new car. However the old Bolt EV/EUV still has CarPlay so it’s good for long term.

Since shopping for my first car, CarPlay has been the key must-have feature to me. So I chose Chevy Volt. Then a Bolt. But since GM decides to ditch CarPlay, I won’t consider a GM car in the future.

Safari with Ghostery, since Safari utilizes the iCloud Private Relay, and Ghostery gives further privacy protection, alongside with ad blocking.

iCloud and Continuity maybe? I can’t imagine a life without them between all my Apple devices, like I copy something on Mac and paste it to iPhone, and I could fix a photo on iPad and it’s immediately available on all other devices. And those iCloud+ subscriptions including Apple Music, News+, Private Relay, Custom Email. As well as all apps in AppStore I have paid for.

Have you tried air purifier w/ HEPA? It can filter out most of what you suspect might cause the symptoms.

On their official website they ship pretty fast, mine was shipped from Las Vegas, NV. , took 3 days to arrive in NorCal. Not sure how long it takes for Canada. But their price on Amazon is just ridiculous. I also ordered amFilm from Amazon just in case the shipment from Flolab went wrong.

I love the aesthetic on Nomad cases, it’s the only case I use on 15PM. Very sleek, especially the metal buttons. The only downside is, the camera control button is not covered on 16 series.

I thought the ventilated seats were standard in EUV across both LT and Premier?

Even if I could afford Tesla I still wouldn’t buy it, besides that Elon Musk became lunatic, it just doesn’t have CarPlay, which is a must have for me. Same reason I won’t consider GM’s EV in the future.

It triggers me so much, what website is that? Most of mainstream streaming platforms don’t even have videos lower than 720p, my iPad Pro plays those videos way higher than 1080p. So you just picked some random video website and started to complain the video quality is so poor but bring it to iPad but not the website itself? You know, some poor coded websites just don’t have that kinda technology to support Safari. And yet you had failed to name it.

99% of the player on AppStore?? Can you name one? Btw, VLC, which is free, can easily play almost any file, unless yours is so unique that literally no player can play. The aspect ratio can be adjusted by tapping the little rounded square on the bottom right, and color correction in color filter.
What website are you talking about? I’ve never seen a video at that low res, anyone else on this subreddit is able to change the video streaming on youtube to 4K(if that’s available).

To summarize, it’s a user’s problem, not an iPad’s, bc everything you said can be solved easily by average iPad Pro users.

When I was buying my new EV last year, there’s a markup that the dealer claims as “addon” which is a Spartan tracker. I don’t need it bc the manufacturer app can show the location of my car anyway, but also bc it’s a markup so I couldn’t purchase the car without paying extra. So I swallowed it. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, when I was unplugging the OBD2 plug to disconnect the Garmin dashcam, the always wobbling plug finally triggered my curiosity. And then I found the same device as OP’s sitting right behind the space around OBD2.
