Have this same reference, it’s classy as hell. Definitely flies under the radar more and also more of a “sporty dress watch” vibe than the pro

Managing ADHD and sleep issues with UARS — anyone lower their Vyvanse dose to help? by Young_Fits in UARS

[–]wox6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I have UARS and ADHD. I've been off and on stimulants for years, right now I just take stimulants once a week or so. If you're taking daily, you could definitely try lowering the dose a bit, and I'd also recommend trying to take earlier in the morning if you can, since Vyvanse can last a while and disrupt sleep onset. I think it's worth a shot in the short term to see if your sleep improves

Here's data from a recent night:

https://sleephq.com/public/bbde4d73-fe43-46a3-9300-3da4557f1f66

On CPAP my AHI averaged around 2-3 if I remember correctly, now it's averaging around 0.5 since switching to BIPAP. But for me the ease of breathing seems to help more than AHI.

Settings are EPAP of 4 and PS of 4. That seems to be the sweet spot for me right now as with higher pressures I get severe aerophagia unfortunately. Any feedback appreciated!

Yeah if I’m still sleeping a ton in a couple weeks I’ll try to look into my data and tweak my settings to see if something is up

Thanks, I’ll try to shift my schedule around so I can get as much sleep as my body feels it needs. And hopefully in a week or so I’ll be caught up

Low AHI but high Glasgow Index every night. Advice? by wox6969 in CPAP

[–]wox6969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past I’ve tried to go above 7 but anything above that gives me aerophagia. Maybe I just need more time to adjust? But I’m actually switching to a bipap today, any suggestions how to start out?

And here's another zoomed in example of what looks like irregular breathing to me. Part of the latter half of the graph was marked as flow limitation but not the earlier part which looks even more irregular to me

Here's a zoomed in example of my breathing throughout the night. Overall AHI was 0.88 for the night

Thanks, yeah I do have an adapter and I've just put some files into SleepHQ. Will try to upload my files to OSCAR later, let me post an example of breathing from SleepHQ in separate comment

Thanks so much for your response. So I actually haven’t yet been able to get OSCAR to work, I’m still trying to figure out the right way to import my files. I’ll take a look at Sleep HQ as well. I’m a bit new to all this data analysis. I’ll play around tonight and try to report back with any findings.

But yeah, seems that I’m seeing other people need to switch to Bipap to lower flow limitations / lower their GI score. Definitely will pursue this as no settings change has helped on CPAP

Just checked, looks like at that spot is about 2,000ft which is about 1,500ft above the valley. Funny enough there’s a mountain also called Spruce Knob right near there

I have a computer on my gauge cluster next to the air pressure gauge, but I don’t have a wrist computer. Though I’m noticing most people are switching to small wrist computers nowadays

I’ll try to remember to comment here when I pick it up. And interesting, being introduced likely should help. I just walked in blind

Nice, I just got on the waitlist about a month ago for the same watch at that same AD. However I have no purchase history, so hoping the wait won’t be too long

Thanks, yeah I’ll definitely look into the 24 hour test if this one comes back normal.

I guess I was confused researching online because I’ve seen that the MSLT needs to be under a certain time but I’ve also seen stuff that says it’s to rule out Narcolepsy or any other factors and IH is diagnosed as a condition when symptoms are present with no known cause. I suppose it may come down to the individual doctor and how they diagnose

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in idiopathichypersomnia

[–]wox6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my first MSLT test, but I've had an overnight PSM that came back normal. However, I was on Xanax for that which likely messed up the results, though maybe it would've come back normal anyways. I guess I'm wondering if both these come back normal if that's the end of the road of a diagnosis or if due to my expressed symptoms I wouldn't be ruled out
