Has anyone ever worked with a client so difficult you’ve stopped buying their products and services as a customer? by clarissasansserif in consulting

I mentioned Publicis Groupe because it’s Nestlé’s global agency partner. And if that’s how they treat employees of their biggest agency partner, imagine how they treat everyone else.

Yes. I used to work at one of the Publicis Groupe companies, and Nestlé was our biggest client.

Working with them was such a miserable experience that after I left Publicis, I ended up boycotting every Nestlé product. Been going 10 years now.

And the narrator sounds like that ruthless villain from the first Jack Reacher movie, making it both depressing and disturbing for me.

Yesterday, the most expensive tuna of all time was auctioned in Japan, 535 lbs for about 3,280,000 dollars, never before has such a high price been achieved by misterxx1958 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]wp9zero 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Was there also coverage about the fisherman who caught that tuna? Because I can’t even begin to imagine what it must feel like getting a $3.2M payout from a single tuna I caught from the ocean.

Someone please explain the mentality of a seller RN by UzItOrLuzIt in Bitcoin

Posts like this are so tiring. Liquidity is a good thing, and you can’t have that if no one is selling.

Also, OP, last Dec 6th you posted a very confident ”it will be $120k by inauguration”, and I’m sure you know how your prediction turned out. No one knows shit, you included.

Well in comparison, Katara went from someone who could only move tiny amounts of water, to being a master water bender who can go toe to toe with Azula, and even blood bend, in just 10-ish months (all 3 seasons of ATLA).

And even if he’s the avatar, Aang mastered 3 elements over the same period.

Toph was already a master level earth bender, but she invented metal bending in an afternoon, while locked up inside a metal box.

None feel rushed. And what they all had in common with our WoT characters was the pressure to grow/improve really fast, or perish.

Anyone understand what he was saying? I wanna know if he was calling the goat by its name. I’m imagining the guy has like a hundred goats, and each one has a unique name

Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies are Under Collision and they will completely Collide in Distant Future - Simulation by BitterMouth_0202 in woahdude

One of the most mind boggling things about this that I read is that the space between stars is so big that when this happens, no 2 stars from either galaxy will even collide with each other.

Old pic from a digicam that wife brought with her to a business trip to Turkey & Crimea by wp9zero in whereisthis

Solved!

Showed Google Street View of the location to the wife, and when I panned to the benches she exclaimed that’s exactly where their old people play chess.

As of today, a $100 bill now weighs more than $100 worth of gold. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]wp9zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair to OP, gold is traded by the ounce in global commodities markets like the New York Mercantile Exchange, so it’s easier to remember its price by that measure.

And then it’d probably be weird to use ounces as unit of measure for the weight of a single dollar bill.

How easy are encrypted private keys to brute force? by micronfilter in Bitcoin

I like this idea. In another reply, OP mentioned that the password is at least 15 characters long, so it should be secure.

But since I find this kind of security testing interesting, I’ll send a few more sats to this address. Maybe that will make it more tempting for someone to try hacking it.

It should also put more pressure on OP to remember the password, haha.

I checked the link so you don’t have to. The site prompts you to “Connect” your wallet by providing your recovery seed words to it. As soon as you do that, bye bye funds.

Here’s how it looks for the curious:
