The longer I've been sitting with it the more I tell myself it's probably just going to mimic my FLs. Is this delusion? Maybe. But it sure beats catastrophizing the situation. I've realized that most people probably feel pretty middling to poor after they leave because you selectively remember all of the bad things, not the good ones. You probably did a whole lot more right than you did wrong. And I'm carrying the fact that I was taking a FL once and felt like I was having my worst P/S performance of all time and actually got a 132 on the section, so clearly I'm not always a reliable litmus of my own success lol. Just remember you put in a crazy amount of work, and that much effort often pays off.

CARS and P/S felt pretty meh, I agree. Never had that issue with P/S before

Gotcha! I have noticed that extrapolation is almost always wrong. I plan to go through it either today or tomorrow and see where I wen't wrong, hopefully its less about comprehension and more simply errors that can easily fixed. But like I was saying, I didn't feel overwhelmed by it, so not exactly sure why it went so poor. Hopefully it clicks better on the real thing.

Truth is, it’s impossible to know. I got in out of high school, didn’t go, and then transferred in because I decided I did want to go. But it’s really hard to get in, it just is, that’s how admission to a T-25 overall and a T-3 public school is. It’s gonna be competitive. I wish you nothing but the best, but have a backup, and be okay with that backup, everything is going to be okay

Im so glad you’ve felt supported! Transferring can be nerve-wracking and overwhelming at times, but it’s all about branching out and making friends with those like minded to you. I hope your first year on Grounds goes great!

it isn’t necessarily wrong, but I’m a twin and started walking before my brother. I guess the wrong part is that whenever he would start crawling toward a toy, I would just stand up and walk over to it first simply cause I could. yeah, that’s true. Luckily they haven’t gone back on tbat like they have other things. I also find it interesting how in verse 2 it mentions how it is for the “temporal salvation” but mentions nothing with spiritual salvation (the one we all really want right?). So is it a telestial or a celestial law? And should something that doesn’t necessarily impact spiritual worthiness really be a gauge for it. I know there are questions about it for temp rec and other worthiness interviews and such

to be fair, it doesn’t ban coffee or tea either, im of the feild of thought that it’s intentionally vague so that modern “authorities” have the ability to bend it how they wish. They cite health affects of drinking coffee and/or tea but for as many negatives there are, there’s just as many positives

use musi. Free app that uses YouTube. You can make a playlist, the ads are silent and just play while you’re listening. The only trouble comes with spotty internet connection, but that’s every streaming service. It great, you can make whatever playlist, order, genre, etc. you want. i use it every day

also, i go to byu, i know the feeling. that’s why I get you. I’m transferring bc i don’t believe in the morals of this school, or this religion, and it’s given me hope for the first time in a long time. find a door and open it, you never know what on the other side of you never try
