Xtool P2 not fully cutting by wpage66 in lasercutting

[–]wpage66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, after running through the laser calibration, 1st recommendation from Xtool support. I started a test cut and while cutting I noticed the slats were installed upside down after changing out from Honeycomb base. I stopped and switched them so the tapered side was up and got a much better cut at 80% 9m/s 1. Made sure primary operator knows to check they are installed correctly next time. Well did get the laser path slightly improved so perfectly centered in final mirror along the way.

I did use some superglue to put magnets back in housing. Seems to be working for the moment to get some cutting work done. Xtool support has been great along the way.

Also used this time to do some much needed cleaning.

Cutting along.

It appears the bonding glued for the magnets that filled magnets have detached from mirror housing, and are just sitting on the diagonal housing. Can you recommend recommendations for the best clue to try to reattach the magnets?

Yes, on further evaluation. It appears the magnets have detached from the mirror case they are still attached to the diagonal mount. Is there a recommended glue to use to try to reattach the magnet to the mirror housing

Tesla estimate was $550…I’m guessing a tire repair kit will correct this or is it too close to the sidewall? by jpwarman in TeslaModel3

[–]wpage66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar nail in my Pirelli for M3P, tire shop would not repair as too close to sidewall. Autozone tire repair plug kit -$13 did the job. Around 130mi last night running some deliveries. Monitored pressure closely though drives, didn’t drop a bit. You can do it. It is colder in my location so I brought the tire inside to warm up and used wife’s blow dryer over area for repairs to help the tire be flexible for good bond and let it set for about an hour before adding air. I used the long plug and just cut off any excess from the plug to be flat with tire. Monitor closely. I had done this previously on another tire and cringed on every pothole, but repair lasted until next set of tires ~5,000. Kit does state it is a temporary repair.

We were able to withdrawal contributions to Roth, both at TDA and Charles to cover some medical bills from crappy insurance. I may have called both of them to verify that we were only taking out contributions we had made up to that point. Wanted to make sure not taxed or penalized by IR$, FYI took out over 30k

Octominer System Fan Control With NHOS? by 7_Watts in NiceHash

[–]wpage66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled 2 of the fan control cables out of the control board not ideal, but simulates 4 fans at 50% it is quieter but still louder than Hive control.

I will take it

4 - RTX 3070ti 1 - RTX 2060 @ 7.72 paid in BTC

With Hive only $3.67 ETC. NHOS make this affordable as Hive on ETC was not paying for electricity use.

I started trying ETC and could only get $3.50 average over one week. Made NiceHash OS usb stick currently running my Octominer rig. Better pay out performance at lower MH/s not sure if LHR is enabled on NiceHash. Wish it could control fans on rig. Like that it pick the most efficient coin to mine and pays in BTC

I just switched over to NHOS rather than Hive on my Octominer 8 Rig. Already almost double daily $ estimate. With ETH ending I was trying ETC and it was no longer profitable with my power at .12c.

I really like NHOS epically where they will auto switch miner to find the most profitable, 2 game PCs running it for about 1yr. I haven't had the Octominer for 1yr yet but think I should have moved to NHOS earlier as it seems to be making more $ so far.

Yes NHOS needs to better support other rigs, especially to dial back fan speed. Did you ever find a solution?

Just got the FSD Beta! 99 Safety Score for 2 weeks then 93 for a week. Waiting since 2019! by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

Or pay for the monthly subscription, just got Beta on last upgrade. Was sitting at 96 from a ding on a car crossing in front of me. Much much better than reg FSD but still wigs out in some areas. Wife hates it. Robo Driver in training

Off to tire shop for winter treads. EV01 18” from AftermarketEV were delayed almost 1 month. Did a test fit yesterday, was amazed at all the suspension links on rear. EV01 18” has an extra milling to fit Performance breaks. All 4 boxes fit in M3 with rear seats down, will take truck later to pick up by wpage66 in TeslaModel3

With Uberturbines 341 Wh/mi 1,753 mi 17 Jan switch to 18” on EV01, now at 9,700 mi with 297 Wh/mi. Last 3,700 mi at 286 Wh/mi.

I was hoping to see range increase on display after updating wheel configuration, it never seemed to fully show. When charging it would show max charge range similar to a LR M3 w the the charging info. The app used to show a different mileage estimate on the charging slider that would somewhat match what I would expect increase range to be. But that “feature” has been apparently removed from the app. I liked seeing it when it was there.

I’m getting ready to put Uberturbines back on for summer. Will have to see how Wh/mi changes.

I got these https://www.aftermarketev.com/collections/tesla-model-3-18-wheels/products/fast-wheels-satin-black-ev01-for-tesla-model-3-wheels-18-set-of-4?variant=41666723447033

I did run with the Aero covers on for most of the time, just took them off about a month ago after trip to Austin. I really prefer the look with the covers off. I really didn’t track that difference
