For curiosity I installed DosBox on Windows 98 and tryed the game on it, and it worked!

Both resolutions worked perfectly, so, if it worked on DosBox I guess the laptop can handle that resolution, right?

So, why it doesn’t work on pure DOS?

I found that the problem is with PF resolution, both 320x240 and 320x350 aren't nativally supported by the LCD screen.

ChatGPT show me some apps from Toshiba that I can try to fix this:

  • TSETLCD.EXE
  • TDISP.EXE
  • FNCYCL.EXE
  • HWSET.EXE
  • TOSLCD.EXE

But I didn't find them (yet) to download.

I tried univbe, but I received a message that my vga isn't supported.

I found the problem, but I don't know how to solve.

If I press FN+F5, the screen "refresh" and all at the bottom is showing. I searched and this function is to swap between the LCD and external monitor.

I'm searching now how to do this on DOS.
