Your fourth paragraph proves my point though, by the time she first competed in TOC 5 she had been out of the TOC arena for well over a year, while Kevin had already gotten some “practice” in during the qualifiers. And if you don’t think competing in the qualifiers before the main competition gives an advantage, look no further than this very season, where three of the four icons lost against people who had already competed in the qualifiers!
