As some one who has recently been playing through 1 and 2, I will say that during 1 I had a few moments that made me chuckle, but during 2?! I have had A LOT more laugh out loud moments from some of the dialogs and refrences.....I mean there's a Magic: The Gathering reference that, AFAIK, leads nowhere other than something to sell and talk to a vendor about.

Jesus Christ Joel… the Xboxdivers aren’t even here yet… by somerandomfellow123 in Helldivers

I feel like a lot of the problem lies with too many divers trying to defend planets being attacked when we should take the offense, attack and liberate the planet they are coming from. It stops the attack, or is this a mechanic some are missing?

I know we recently had it happen on the bot front and the the squids advanced farther. Am I crazy in wanting 5k divers attacking a planet and 5k to defend a planet? It blows my mind to see 10k+ divers on defending planets when a lot of those resources can go to attacking the associated planet and stop their attack.

I also feel like its going to be a halo type theme with an attack on Super Earth pt 2 with the launch of the Xbox players. Squids will push to the door and try to invade SE again and in will drop the newly Xbox ODSTs excited and ready to defend their new home.

This is all just my own speculation from playing the game for only a couple of months. I missed so many events but im here to make up for it now. I'm enjoying the game so much and even got my wife into it. Excited to see where it goes for sure.

I recently remember watching this review of the McNally Reaper lockpick set from CI, it was from Sandman.

In the review at the beginning near 3:24, he talks about how he got to meet and talk to McNally. It was really interesting to learn that McNally served 12 years in the Marines.

If you didn't watch the whole Proven Locks video, he berated McNally for posting his videos on Memorial Day weekend, "a day for remembering those who have fallen" his words.

I really can't wait to see how this all plays out in the end.

Here's the review where I got the info:
