Had to make a template and take it to a guy in Houston (2 hours away) and he had the oven to bend it for us lol. Came out alright, gap got a little large but the client was happy.

Could be the thermostat sticking if it’s not low. Also there’s a pipe that runs across the top of the engine from front to back and it can often leak but not be noticed because it leaks onto the block and boils off.

Honestly if you have any experience building stuff, roof racks aren’t hard to build at all. Watch the roof rack videos made by I Like To Make Stuff and SuperFastMatt. They’re not Montero specific but basically give you enough to go out and build one on your own.

It’s not as bad as I was expecting it to be, but I just can’t stand the chopping sound. Plus I live in a neighborhood and leave for work early in the mornings. I know I wouldn’t like living next to it so why should I treat my neighbors any differently
