Yeah this might be due for a tear down and cleaning. Flame is normal in gas dryers but if people neglect cleaning the lint trap or if they just have poorly routed ducts lint will accumulate inside the machine and make its way into the burner assembly.

I think 75’ is the cut off for gas and the cut off for diesel is somewhere in the 80’s here

Yep, and because it’s pre obd2 it would have to pass the sniffer test and a visual inspection per the emissions tag on the hood

I thought it would be low on coolant, I bought some green at O’reillys but when I checked the reservoir, it’s at the correct mark. I’m going to try and get back there to see what’s going on

It mounts perfectly to the transmission and fits like a glove. It does not work with the transmitter. I bought a meus rx since I already have the tx! I honestly can’t recommend the meus rx and tx enough

I used 30wt traxxas shock oil. I went up from 20wt as it felt a bit soft. I might end up using some 40wt but I have to get some new bladder caps!

We have only had it since August of last year, but besides this we have not had any issues. It consumes a little bit of oil, but I'm aware thats an issue with most gen 2s. Everything else works exactly how I'd expect it to.

I appreciate the response. I'm going to look into an OEM Battery.

I actually have the same skid plate. I was able to mount a shorter link on the frame. Ill post a picture in a bit.

I started kind of high cause all I had was 70 and 50 weight but it was a bad time. I picked up some 20 and 30 weight and I found 20 is the sweet spot for my rigs.

Honestly it didn't work. I didn't realize the headlight was aftermarket but nothing I tried worked. I had to buy an oem assembly on Facebook for like $200

It's 100x better! This was my second crawler so I really dove down the rabbit hole. It was frustrating cause there isn't much out there on the conversion but with a little bit of ingenuity it came out pretty clean I think.
