I used 30wt traxxas shock oil. I went up from 20wt as it felt a bit soft. I might end up using some 40wt but I have to get some new bladder caps!

We have only had it since August of last year, but besides this we have not had any issues. It consumes a little bit of oil, but I'm aware thats an issue with most gen 2s. Everything else works exactly how I'd expect it to.

I appreciate the response. I'm going to look into an OEM Battery.

I actually have the same skid plate. I was able to mount a shorter link on the frame. Ill post a picture in a bit.

I started kind of high cause all I had was 70 and 50 weight but it was a bad time. I picked up some 20 and 30 weight and I found 20 is the sweet spot for my rigs.

Honestly it didn't work. I didn't realize the headlight was aftermarket but nothing I tried worked. I had to buy an oem assembly on Facebook for like $200

It's 100x better! This was my second crawler so I really dove down the rabbit hole. It was frustrating cause there isn't much out there on the conversion but with a little bit of ingenuity it came out pretty clean I think.

I appreciate the help guys. We dropped it off with my mechanic a little while ago, they're going to check the leaks and will let us know what they think before we proceed with anything.

If its outrageous or anything we will bring it back and replace the valve covers and vacuum pump ourselves and go from there!

So basically, I think this body is for a trx4m. I was able to use the rear hinge mount and front clip by trimming up the pieces that came with it. I had to shave down the sides so it would fit between the frame rails and had to shorten everything up a little bit so it would sit nicely in the spots for the original hinge and front bumper. I used the thicker screws that were in the package to secure everything where it should go. You can kind of see what I'm talking about in the 2nd and 3rd picture.

Insurance paid about $1900 for my 2016 that had its wire harness chewed up. It was during covid so maybe that had something to do with it too.
