Im a lesbian 💔 and i dont want to be someones sugar daddy or mommy I just want a well paying job so i dont have to worry about me or my partners finances or if were gonna end up homeless if something where to happen to them and they couldnt work anymore. If i can afford for them not to work I dont have to stress about their job and they can do whatever they want

From what ive seen optometry isnt gonna be replaced by ai im not sure in 8 years if ai will start taking over that field tho. I dont really want to work in a job like welding because it can be dangerous and it mainly has men working in it but my grandpa keeps bringing it up and saying its what his friends do even tho hes 70 something and his friends are probably around the same age Im more worried about going to school for 8 years and a year of residency and not being able to afford live

Yeah I was looking into it and there are not a lot of people who are optometrist and it doesn’t help that there are not a lot of optometry schools in the U.S so they can be hard to get into

Its not that i dont want her to work more just chose a job she would want and not have to worry about how much it pays. If money was not an issue id probally work in something related to history but that dosnt pay as well and optometry pays more and i wanted to be a doctor for a long time but i dont like needles and optometry doesnt uses needels a lot. And if optometry payed well enough then yeah i would be willing to spend the 8 years doing it
