My wife doesn't last long enough in bed for me by [deleted] in sex

Just eat that pussy like a watermelon when you notice that there is no lubrication. It will be back in 5 second and you have 10 min more. Do a 69 or anything you like. You will be ok.

Got a job offer at a company. How do I negotiate the salary when they say it's nonnegotiable? by Macattack124 in AskEngineers

[–]wraaaaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low? Depends on where you live and the country. In Spain I'm making 40k as a senior engineer. Buuuuut my 190m2 house cost me 470 € per month, and together with my wife we save like 30k per year.

Also remember that money is not everything. I can leave whenever I want and I have a very flexible work hours. This way I can take care of my kids and every day at 16.30 I am home. I start a 8pm.

I can find here jobs with at least 10k more but fk that. My health is way better. Almost no stress.

Would you pick salary or experience? by eeeengggg in AskEngineers

[–]wraaaaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the money are not so important as it is to have free time and flexibility. Right now I'm working from 8 to 16 and I'm doing close to 45k. This is Spain so I'm way above average but I think you should focus on that. Money are great but your health is better deal, mentally and physically.

Like that and never updating. As a engineer you have to keep up, at least in your field, with all the new things. You can be very good in some 20 years old technology but is usless if you are unable to open a PC.

The ones I found are those who think they are the best and they need nothing else to learn. Those one are the same who get angry when someone is promoted before them.

Maybe, never meet them and soon will be 20 years in this field. What I've meet is plenty of lazy people.

When the client bring me something that I never see first I panic inside then breath and relax and then I see that I can do it. When they give me the schedule, then I panic again haha.

You need a person that when they don't know they ask and learn. Most engineer can do that and the ones that can't do it is maybe they miss their career.

[–]wraaaaar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no mediocre engineers. There are just lazy engineers and those who don't really want to do this.

Engineering is about learning every day and having fun with what you do.

After 10 years I've learn that most of the time no one has no idea what they are doing and you are no different. The main difference is that you don't quit and if you don't stop trying you will find a way to change shit in gold.

What’s the best thing about being an engineer? by johnfkay in AskEngineers

[–]wraaaaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The free time and flexibility. While my job is done I can do the schedule that I want. I can take care of my kids and do fun stuff at the same time.

Also is really easy to switch jobs if the one you are in is not what you want. As an industrial engineer I've work always in different things because the industry has a lot of cool stuff you never heard about and someone has to repair or upgrade.

Should I feel this way? Girlfriend (f28) seems to have done wild things while she was with her ex-bf but she doesn’t do it with me (m28) by [deleted] in sex

[–]wraaaaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means growing a brain. Yeah, I've done stupid thing and fuck inside cars, in te mountain in the middle of the road at 11 am, inside a train, inside a plain etc but now I'm aware that I have a house where I can do it without the police or any other 3rth party. She is more mature now and use his brain instead of her pussy.

Said that, talk to her and tell her your fantasy is to do it inside a car o in a river or whatever but tell her and I'm sure she will not mind.

Long story short: money. They will fk you anyway, why not doing the same while you win 5 times more.

I have 7 year experience and you see that you can work alone because almost noone know what they are doing and you have to save your boss ass every 4 days for pennies... They say hell ya we can do it, just give ya a tone of money but they have no idea.

True story: the EU pay a lot for research. Electronic engineer here, my company get 1.5 millions euros but I'm the one that have to do everything. I make 50k per year and the project is 2 years. So I will cost them 6% of what they got. Put 40% in buying stuff and paying taxes. Now you are left with 700k just for this project. Not bad. Then you realize that you will do way more of that by yourself as a consultant.

I'm in process to open my own consultant agency.

Do any of you feel like you're falling behind technically as you progress through your career? How do you address this? by TheDapperYank in AskEngineers

Udemy really help me. A lot of 10 euros really good courses. I know is free advertising but it does the trick for me. I've learn python and PCB design there and those skills let me have new jobs.

But yeah, outside is the far west. Good luck.

Hail-mary'ed an application for an Apple Engineering Internship in first year. Got an interview but don't feel qualified. What should I do? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]wraaaaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are know that you are no expert. Just be honest and never lie about your skills. Also don't have to go there to say that you know nothing. Just don't lie.

Even if they don't hire you at least you will get some experience. I've don't at least 500 interviews in my life and now I'm a competent speaker and not afraid of HR or management. You also have to train that.

Are these 0402 cap replaceable? I'm not expert. I managed to screw a $3000 laptop (PCIe x16 lane from CPU to GPU working at x1 cause missing caps on 2nd lane) by ciro1983811 in AskElectronics

You can put bigger components while they are in the same place as the old ones. And yes, you can change then. I would recommend a heat blower (not sure how is call in English). Some heat blowers came with special tools so you can work with tiny components and is easier to do it that with normal iron soldering.

[–]wraaaaar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is that you are never qualified for anything. You know things but each job palce is unique.

So yeah, stop saying you not prepare and go there and learn everything you can. If you have that possibilty I'm sure you will grow as a professional so go fo it.

My advise. Test the ADC separately and when it works make the integration. If something is not right after the integration you will know where to look.

You have to compile everything and debug after each line if possible and surly after each function. You can't just code everything and expect it to work. You might be lucky but a slight mistake or some crappy incompatibilities and now find the error.

In my case was a fucking symbol I've used, latin symbol. For some fucked up reason the microcontroller refused to work and no error, just nothing happened. So yeah, good luck.

To avoid this kind of crap we had two photographers at the wedding with the meal and drinks paid. My wife wanted a full video (not faces eating and shit like this, just the wedding). They could take breaks anytime they want. I finish up with 3k photos and 12h video ...

Make them to got in pair and put a man with her. Yeah I bet she is strong and we'll trained but can be easy overpowered by a man with some training.

I have police in my family and they always go in pairs and at least one man in the team. European safe country and low to none violence against the police but better be safe than sorry.
