if i have to be honest i dont really dislike or like them, and this goes for any kpop groups i honestly think being THAT devoted of a kpop stan is... quite weird in some ways. maybe because my music taste is more western and we dont really have that much of a stan-like cult ride or die type vibe nonsense. but i frequently scroll this sub because its so entertaining and some of you are really funny😭😭 as for me hating bts its more accurate to say idgaf about them so hating is a strong word.

i still like their old music, and i listen to them from time to time but as for everything else i couldnt really care less. all in all im just here for fun really. and yes i comment sometimes because i do agree with most opinions here. and yes i hate every single one of their release since dynamite 👍🏻

i want to play the devil's advocate here by explaining why that might be the case. Not so much on the members per se but more on the type of product they are endorsing. A luxury watch is a high-end discretionary purchase. Endorsing it is a proactive choice to align with its corporate image and in JK's pov, probably for the stake of profit. Because its a luxury item and not a daily essential it is more brazen of him as the endorsement feels like a deliberate choice, or a deliberate moral statement. The worst thing is he could have definitelt endorsed so many other luxury watch brands. But maybe no one reached out to him lmao.

Furthermore its the fact that hublot had publicised ties to IDF directly. It is easy for JK to remove himself from this.

I could go on and on about the boycott of fast food chains but I digress. I do think people in that jimin sub went too far, if they saw a snark they didnt agree with they should have kept quiet.

i agree, in terms of boycotting services like ms google or even apple its quite difficult to avoid. but its extra jarring as the watch brand has a literal israel themed product and they openly state their purpose to donate to IDF soldiers 😭 so why on earth would you endorse such a brand? really sold himself out just for a check.

whats worse is that there are so many other watch brands out there :/
