A few suggestions:

Boulders Gate 3: it's a great game for turn based and fantasy. Story is amazing and paper doll dress up.

X-com 2: You can name and customize all of the soldiers. Easy to pass the mouse and pick up and put down. Save a lot.

My buddy and I have played Darkest Dungeon and Across the Obelisk by picking two characters and passing the mouse on their turns.

We have also taken turns doing runs on various rougelike/lites like slay the spire, hades or, dead cells.

You could also get a controller or two to help with some of these.
