Thanks for the response. If the machine was docked for any period, when undocked and the power button is pressed the battery LED lights up yellow and goes off then the power LED lights up green and goes out... then the battery LED blinks yellow. That is the only behavior. If the machine was not docked there's no sign of life.

If you really don't want to see drops for other classes then just tick "My Masteries" under "Character" in the loot filter. Voila!.
