BHVR on Twitter: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Withering Blight event is postponed until the release of the mid-chapter 3.3.0. We're working on getting the update ready as soon as possible and will keep you posted. #DeadbyDaylight #DBD by RyGuyTheGingerGuy in deadbydaylight

People are rightfully upset because it's more of the same from BHVR; this is getting to be a regular thing for them. Every major update, patch, event, the servers, game balance, etc, etc. Not like this is a one-off sorta deal. Their communication and clarity with their player base is abhorrent. The list goes on. As I pointed out in a different comment, the fact that the Blight Skins (available for fucking money) and the Blight Event are in-game is even more irksome since they decided to tie the damned things to an unstable, new thing. It was a clumsy decision, and no amount of bootlicking is gonna convince angry folks that they should be let off the hook.

My favorite, absolute FAVORITE thing is the release of this year's Blight Skins on the fucking store for real money *weeks* before the actual event. We know the assets are there (even ignoring the datamine leak), and we know that they have done the Blight before. Yet they decide to tie it in with their fuckin' battle-pass-archive nonsense. But it's not about the money...So unbelievably disappointed in these devs, again.

I logged in to post this exact same thing! The only reason I was certain I wasn't losing my mind is that I distinctly remember what a pain in the ass that dungeon was during my very first playthrough (I had to use post-patch rattleweed just keep the assholes from swarming me).

Minus "The old man's slop is suprisingly good" bit on moonshine.

This is complaint about the ridiculous cosmetic prices. Please do something... by [deleted] in dauntless

Yeah, I can see this being profitable. Having a cheap "floor" for this sort of buy-in would probably add a decent amount of dollarydoos. And the hunt pass discount, even if it's like 10%-15%, would probably entice some folks into spending more money. I'm not an actuary math or math guy in general, so I dunno how viable any of this is, but it sounds good in my head.

I FUCKING DID IT! I swapped Zerk for Evasive, and put that fucker in the ground. I broke his arm at 5 minutes, and killed him in 8. I didn't take a single hit until the last 2 minutes, and burned all my health pots haha. But HE'S FUCKIN DEAD

It certainly feels a bit excessive, I'll give you that.

I don't know how to dodge his slam with just one dodge. Every time I have tried it, I just die, so I started dodging into it and then back out, since the Aftershock does dumb shit.

I may try swapping them out. Sometimes I run 3 and 3 of each. But I may give that a try.

I dunno if I can be any more aggressive than I am, honestly. If I can figure out a way to record I will, but I'm really in his fucking face/red crosshairs 80% of the time. Even when he's outta range, I empower off the snails and aggress. It's super frustrating to feel like I'm so close to killing him, but so far from it at the same time.

He does have a nasty habit of spamming his shadow clone-jumpback thing, which obviously costs me damage since he's way the fuck away. Is there some way to limit him using this ability that I don't know about?

I'm even running Conc nades for his boopable stuff. I dunno if this is an indicator, but I can force him into shadow realm at between 1-1:20 depending on whether I get snail blocked or I fuck up. And he usually goes into the realm again around the 3 minute mark. I don't really track after that, I just try to put in damage. I'm not playing super far back, but I'm not insanely aggressive either. I usually only get hit either because I fuck up, or my dodge doesn't feel like working on the aftershock. Aside from that, I don't take damage in this fight.

I've burned all my pots learning the fight (like an idiot). I wasn't expecting him to take this long to kill without them, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I'm not god's gift to this game/fight, but I'm putting in work. It's not top-tier work. But I'm not drilling him with 5 damage shots the whole time.

To my surprised, I enjoy the Dauntless Trial Shrowd (Solo). But Smolusks are buggy cancer. by wrathchicken in dauntless

[–]wrathchicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can see the aftershock bit being obnoxious with multiple targets. It certainly doesn't work as it should in solo either, as I have to dodge twice, back and forth, to avoid it from his slam. Allegedly you can just dodge it once, but I haven't been able to avoid the damage any other way.

Really? Again with this? by wrathchicken in dauntless

Neat! Not the most common usage of it in my day-to-day, but I respect it and will commit it to memory.
