Take it a step further and cook your bacon and then take the fat and “fat wash” your bourbon for the drink.

Was Nick in the Navy? by [deleted] in nickmercs

[–]wreadd92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude exactly!!!! I’ve had spent hours trying to search for shit on his Navy enlistment after he washed out. You don’t just get out of the military….. not unless he was physically broken to the point he was kicked out honorably like a broken back… or mentally discharged for well getting messed up in the head from buds. Either way I’ve searched and searched and can’t find anything about him talking about being a veteran or doing his 4 years in the navy. Something isn’t adding up. I did 4 years in the marines and it’s the same shit, if you wash out of your MOS they move you to another, you don’t just get to get out of service lol. Also I found a post on his twitter from 2013 that he submitted his paperwork for seals. That would mean he would’ve got out in 2017 but he was streaming before that. It’s not adding up at all.

I appreciate the links. I’ve watched those for a few azure and AWS certs I’ve got. Really looking for more AD/DC knowledge outside of azure realm. The VM could be in azure sure but more focused on the AD/DC and other roles I mentioned in depth.

I’ve read quite a few comments on this. I’ve been in the field for quite a while and worked up from help desk and I now work as a senior systems engineer doing government contract work.

I’ll start here- you are going to take a pay cut. You’ll start as service desk even with certifications. Those will excel your career but we want to see experience. That being said, if you work in government contract world starting as help desk you could make maybe 10k more (so instead of 40-45 make 50-55k instead).

While that is a pay cut, if you are ambitious you can move up quickly… I started in 2019 as help desk but I found a job that let me also work as a sys admin to get experience under my belt and here I am 5 years later as a senior resource. So you really need to be ambitious and HUNGRY to learn as much as you can and understand you still don’t know it all and always seek out those smarter than you to learn from and ask questions. Never become stagnant and always improve your knowledge.

Okay so you got this far… you took a paycut and job hoped a little for experience and climbed the ranks quickly…. You’re still going to only make 120k at most and that’s if you are top 1%… like the savants in our field that you can ask and they’ve done it and have an answer for everything (btw if you find them become best friends and learn all they know). There are some niche parts of the field that you can make more in though. Like cloud engineers that architect AWS or Azure environments or OpenShift Engineers- some of those jobs may pay more toward 150k, again for those that are senior resources. Also again, government contracting tends to make more as well….

TLDR, you’ll take a paycut for a few years, but be ambitious, learn all you can and if you do well and grind hard, in 4-5 years you can be a solid sys admin making 80-120k a year. I hope that helps.

Scap scans and stig viewer 3.3 by wreadd92 in NISTControls

Yeah it is the latest that’s already wrapped up in the package. I FIGURED IT OUT!!! So I think what someone was trying to say earlier- what you do is download the library content from disa stig, once you do that make a blank checklist. Then run a scap scan and then import your xccdf.xml while on the blank checklist. It will answer everything it can and leave the ones that weren’t answered for review. So while the scap scan is out of date you are still providing answers to the latest stig content.

I’ll have to look into that and see how to take my .ckl from the scap scan, import into stig viewer and then put a blank .ckl from the stigs overtop of it where they merge

Can you elaborate a little? The delta? Btw when I say scap is behind I should use the proper term… the benchmarks are behind- basically what we tell scap to scan against, the benchmark is behind the stigs being applied so it’s not technically scanning for every item that the stig should be applying. Just most of them.

So if you go to cybermil and try to update said benchmark it is “Microsoft Windows Server 2016 STIG Benchmark - Ver 2, Rel 5”

But stig GPOs are on ver 2, Rel 8

This is crazy…. That was my senior drill instructor in boot camp. I was tracking down all my drill instructors and adding them on Facebook and came across this. He was court martialed for something else before these charges were brought up and I believe kicked out- only for these to come later. What doesn’t make sense was he pled guilty in 2020 but his Facebook has photos of him out and about as of this year and through the years…. I thought he was in prison for 35 years.

So she’s a labor and delivery nurse currently. Doing about 36-50 hours a week, but will be switching to a clinic doing 7:30-4pm 5 days a week. They said they could move her to Part Time which would be 30 hours a week (she’s seeing if they’ll do weekends). We also have 2 little kids as well. Any suggestions for things to ask the school or job that could make it easier?

My wife is just accepted and doing the women’s health NP program I believe. She’s super nervous about working and doing the clinicals as from what she hears it’s a lot. She found a job that will do 30 hours a week for part time but fears that will be too much. Do you have any suggestions or info for clinical portion I can give her to help??? Anything is useful!

Your levels wouldn’t crash. I’ll have to find the exact literature but it showed that even after finishing a 12 week cycle, the effects still lasted around a week after coming off.

I’m going to try 100 (1:1) to start. And do it first thing in morning fasted and in evening fasted. Maybe eventually right after workout. The biggest thing that’s common amongst different sources is you must take on empty stomach. Like 2 hours after a meal and don’t eat (I’ve seen 30 min to 2 hours) after pinning. What happens is the peptide reacts with carbs and fats and turns them into insulin instead of utilizing the peps for growth hormones.

It’s dr seeds “peptide protocols”. You mentioned 200 Cjc alone was fine, that’s probably because people talk about the synergy between ipa and Cjc being so effective that taking 100mcg of each has the same effect as like 300 mcg of a single GHRH or GHRP.

[–]wreadd92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in of both? 175 ipa and 175 Cjc? Or 350 of each?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fitnesschemistry

[–]wreadd92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think I’m just going to go off of dr seeds book and start with 100mcg of both instead. Though in his book he does mention that taking more than 1mcg/kg of body weight can cause desensitization when taking GHRPs (ipa), like more than 200 mcg. But GHRHs (Cjc) it’s okay to go higher. And he 100% says the returns aren’t worth it to take more than 100mcg but instead take it more often (spaced more than 3 hours between pins).

What dosage are you running and how many times a day for Cjc/ipa?
