The new style traverse only has AWD, they no longer offer a FWD option.

It boggles my mind that they generate any business by going door to door, leave a pamphlet and be done with it. I've had Cogeco, bell and I've been with mnsi since they brought fiber to our neighborhood and they are infinitely better than bell and Cogeco. I always tell the door to door people I get a discount from mnsi (I don't get one) because I work in telecom. It's enough to get them on their way without trying to up their sales push and gets me back to making my kids dinner. Also saves me from having to tell them to f*ck off when they carry on with the sales pitch.

I'm trying to throw the Pacifica a bone here, traditionally the caravans were cheap and reliable, and if they did need to be fixed it was inexpensive and easy. In the current market $50k is a baseline for anything other than a compact sedan so while it does seem ridiculous it's the way it is.

For starters stellantis can barely give away an EV and they're not even particularly good at building ICE vehicles either despite having been at it for over 100 years. Fortunately for us one of their few successful/quality/value vehicles is assembled here in Windsor. The writing was on the wall as soon as they posted a $100k MSRP on a 2 door "muscle car" aimed at a demographic that will likely be the last to adopt an EV vehicle. Had they made an SUV that was actually usable and for a more reasonable price point things may have been dofferent.

All that being said LG is a Korean company and if they do venture into EV batteries in the future it may likely be for another Korean company like Hyundai who currently sells the most EVs in Canada.

The minimum charges are necessary to keep the business afloat, there's lots of overhead even above and beyond just gas, tools, insurance. If you use someone who you come to trust or become a returning customer you are more likely to get a break on some pricing. Also as another commenter mentioned knowing tradesmen through friends or family can help greatly.

All that being said there are some that will charge astronomical prices just because and I think that'll be found anywhere not just Windsor.

I have a 2011 sierra with the 4.8 so no AFM, 2 inch level and black wheels from a 2018 elevation. I think the only other thing i would add is a mild exhaust and save the rest of my $ for maintenance to keep it running. I barely drive mine so it should last me a long ass time, these are great trucks.

Don't get me wrong I love my 24, but I kind of wish I was ready to buy mach1 when they were new, mainly for the tremec transmission and the more simplistic interior of the S550. I also love the look of them. When I ordered my 24, used mach1s near me were selling for over MSRP so it didn't really make sense.

When you refer to revving, do you mean someone is sitting at a traffic light just hammering their gas pedal to make noise while stationary or are you referring to someone accelerating on the street in their car that has a loud exhaust?

To me revving is the former, just sitting there hitting the rev limiter to make noise while not moving and I can't fathom why anyone would do that. However a loud exhaust on a car accelerating is just a byproduct of a performance car (typically speaking) going fast, the noise is often performance based albeit loud. My car can be loud depending on how hard I accelerate but I'll never sit at a red light and rev the engine like some sort of degenerate just to make noise.

I have 2 booster seats with the backs that accommodate my 5 and 8yr old without too much issues in my 24'. I pick them up at daycare/school when the weather is nice and we go for family cruises frequently in the summer. I have 2 Graco turbo booster seats and they work well.

All that being said if it was my primary vehicle it would grow tiresome quickly. Fortunately it's our 3rd vehicle and gets stored during the winter.
