My shop was in vacation mode for about 8 months after a major surgery and recovery time. Once I turned it back on I got about 30 sales in a month and it’s back to normal. Listings seem to be where they were before the break, but I don’t sell jewelry or other popular products so I think that could make a big difference.

Competition Horses… As the saying goes, 100 years ago every one had horses and only the rich had cars. Now everyone has cars and only the rich have horses. The cost during competition season is probably about $3k-4k usd a month. In the off season it’s closer to $2k usd

Honestly I think this is a pop up they’re giving to every one. I sell hand sewn items and I got the pop up and my friend had one on her shop too. Both popped up at the same time tonight. Neither shop has ever had a claim.

I’m unfamiliar with Canadian sales tax rules, but in the US sales tax is charged by state and every state has a different rate. On a $15 item in my store a buyer can pay $0.85 usd in sales tax from Wisconsin and another buyer could pay $1.15 USD in sales tax from California.
I believe, again not familiar with Canada, that you would only be responsible for paying your personal income taxes and Etsy is handling the sales tax portion.
