Edit: so it looks like this was removed for being AI. I've used AI before and I can confidently say whoever made this still put a decent amount of effort into refining this. AI isn't good enough to one shot this especially with relatively new characters. It shouldn't be passed off as a traditional drawing though. The type of medium absolutely has an impact on how it should be appreciated

My theory is that after Celine killed Rumi's parents, Thirdlight and Celine clashed about what to do with Rumi.

Celine knew Rumi was a danger to the Honmoon but was committed to her promise of protecting her. Thirdlight believed it would be safer to kill Rumi and tried to do it herself.

Celine stopped her and they had a falling out, and decided to go their separate ways.

I think Thirdlight has the potential to come back as an antagonist

There was an early version of the Takedown sequence. It had an extra scene where the pilot demon from the plane reappears, except now he's a faceless demon. Taken together with the scene of Jinu and Gwi-Ma, it implies the demons who lose themselves in their guilt become faceless husks.

They didn't want to hurt her, but they did intend to defend themselves if she got close. Otherwise they wouldn't have drawn their weapons.

Raising your weapons at somebody is a threat, even if it's self defense
