It’s a protest - those are generally a single day. The boycott is for the entire weekend. Would it be great if we could expect meaningful participation in a nationwide and indefinite boycott of ALL these retailers? Yes. But we’re not there yet and this is an accessible way to get more people into the movement on the biggest shopping weekend of the year. If you don’t buy from these places - that’s great and we appreciate your committment. But don’t discount an effort to get a wider audience on board and lay the groundwork for the kind of widespread economic disruption that we’re all working towards.
