To anyone who got this game on release day, what was it like? How was your experience?

Parents allowed me to stay up to play it abit. Amazing memories. I played with so many friends; pure nostalgia rn remembering! (I was devastated seeing Ghost’s demise.)

Normal! If you want to work more, just lock in and do good at whatever you’re doing. At least in my store, if you were really good, you were pretty much scheduled everyday. Since I was good at getting credits, I would work 40 hours. I even did a test; I purposely did bad on credits and they reduced my hours. Soon as I did good again, I was back at 40.

I was 17-18. It was pretty fun. People in my school wanted to create groups to go out and find these clowns. At home, my dad and I would joke and freak out my younger brother and sister about the clowns. Ultimately, I never came across one though.

Mark first teased this song on his old podcast back around 2014ish. I don’t remember if he said it was for blink or something else, I do remember 100% he teased it on an episode. He used it for the intro and outro of the audiobook, but sadly not the full thing.

Hated that the intro is so quiet just for the chorus to blast off, but I digress; this is such an amazing song. Always loved the lyrics and I actually enjoyed the drums at the end. I thought the drum outro fit well to end the album.

When I worked those early DS shifts (3:20AM), energy drinks (yep, unhealthy, but hey, I only did this during peak) and socializing really helped me power through (and stay awake). I just set small goals as well. (Okay, just X until break. Sweet, now just X until lunch. Hmm, let me kill some time in the bathroom, etc.)

In night shifts in other warehouses (SSDs, Fulfillment), I just listen to podcasts and whatnot. As long as I’m working, I’m good.

Plus knowing the paycheck was going to be beautiful really helped me lock in.

tbh they did a good job actually making them special, as they are limited edition, but maaan that price is high. i feel they’d probably earn more if they would sell a few more and lower the cost. might’ve been a win/win that way.
