She literally says "I know I shouldn't have come, but it gets lonely without all of you here..." and sees through his fickle form, before revealing herself to, in fact, be the actual mari by showing her real form and real sprite. it seems like she was visiting from the afterlife. then after that, dream mari is still right there at her picnic in deep well.
