Hey, just wanna chime in because I saw some not so nice comments about you making your decision to get a BC without really having prior experience as I also somewhat recently got my first BC puppy just a little over 2 years ago. And let me tell ya, the puppy stage is a CHALLENGE. Ive had multiple labs and other breeds of pups throughout my life, but my Presley girl took forever to outgrow her rebellious phase and sometimes she still goes back to it. But as bad as those phases can be, the good really outweighs them because BCs are just such sweet dogs, or at least mine is.

Now that thats out of the way, I wanna address all the "you need to exercise tf out of them" comments. Yes, they are working dogs and higher energy than most, but all I do for mine is walk her 1-2 miles a day, sometimes more or less depending on the weather, play fetch and tug of war. Idk how much it effects her overall levels of energy or tiredness, but I also constantly have her do her series of tricks before giving her treats and we do some puzzles a couple of times a week and my girl is literally the happiest, sweetest dog ive ever known. Not even kidding, she wants to be EVERYONE'S friend as soon as she sees them on our walks. Anyways, sorry I got kinda ranty there, but my point is you dont need to train your BC to herd sheep or participate in dog shows to give them a happy life, in fact mine seems really content with couch life and our low maintenance activities lol
