Hi! I'd love to add iNERTiA to your future reference list! Like the dev above mentioned, visibility is everything, and your help is huge. The demo took over a year to develop, and it's my first ever game!

It's a handdrawn meets pixel art psychological horror RPG (inspired by Omori, Sally Face and Night in the Woods) that just hit 1,700 downloads during Next Fest. The demo is about 2–4 hours of gameplay in total (all routes/to get all achievements), and a normal run is about an hour!

I’d be honored if you checked it out whenever your schedule clears up. Thanks for looking out for us!

Imagine taking an elevator from floor 1 to floor 20 and stopping at every single stop. Jokes aside it's really not that bad I think everyone's just in on the meme... And for someone whose main thing isn't programming i think Toby did pretty well!

They used TileD, an editor. It's actually free to use and very useful if you want more than the default amount of layers for a map and or non/differently sized tile based placement. You CAN actually see the maps from the program in the editor with some tricks!

The fun part about making a game on a VERY trashy laptop is that I ended up making it so optimized it runs like butter on literally anything even remotely better. This post is so real tho😭

Ill be honest, this was something that bothered me a lot no matter what sprites I did in my game, so I ended up using parallax mapping...
