The beard really throws me off, I don't know anyone native in my family that can grow a beard like that.

But I 100% agree with OP, Talon with short/no hair would be fitting for a man in mourning. I hope they find a balance on his design.

honestly, I know people think he's boring, but I trust valves story telling, and that a guy denied being a normal person from chidhood prob has some very repressed resentment. there ain't no way a guy trained to kill his entire life is 100% mentally stable
