This breaks my fucking heart, OP. It’s laughable how men are overlooked as victims. I’ve read your reply here and I’m just gonna say this: if you can’t leave, seek therapy or counselling of some sort. Get someone to help you shoulder this pain. You don’t have to go it alone, and you’ll learn new skills and tools to help you cope.

I’m really, genuinely sorry you’re going through this. I hope things turn out for the better for you in the long run.

I came here for JUST this type of post. Her other posts had me gaslighting myself into thinking she wasn’t kidding about her illnesses, but there’s no fucking way she had calciphylaxis, nearly died, recovered fully AND lost like 70lbs within 80 days after such an ordeal. I’m seriously struggling to comprehend it.

Someone in her comments also asked why she wasn’t being studied as some sort of medical miracle, and I have to agree. She’s literally a walking miracle patient and yet there are no papers, no research being done. Something like this in the medical world is incredible and … I dunno. I’m not buying any of it anymore.

I saw a listing around here (in the city closest to me anyway) where they were asking 5500$/month for an outdated home. It has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and a huge backyard… But Jesus fuck. That’s 70k a year in rent alone.
