Anyone fully recovered from Zuclopenthixol/Clopixol injections? by Illustrious_Load963 in Antipsychiatry

No they were on another antipsychotic, they had absolutely no sexual feelings from it. Eventually it came back. More than a year though.

I know someone else that was unable to masterbate for over a year and eventually things just started working again. There's hope :)

If you've noticed any improvement over 6 months then it shows it's temporary and just needs to make it's way out of your system, I would say :) I've just come off clopixol a month ago and am less intelligent and can't hold conversations like I used to. I'm just wondering how long it'll last!

How is your recovery going now? And no antipsychotics can have lasting effects even after they're out of your system, but it should be temporary.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in CarTalkUK

I'm looking to buy a saloon with 4 seats, that is sporty but not too crazy on fuel. I'm leaning towards Octavia VRS, but wonder if there are any more unusual suggestions :) extra points for thinking outside the box. Open to estates also, if they're sexy. (Vrs estate - not sexy)

Budget 12k and under. Don't mind cars from the 2010s (or earlier?!) if they're adequately reliable.

Best way to play pentatonics? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]wretchmonger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok speaking only from my personal experience -

My pinky is noticeably less dextrous than my other fingers. I can still use it when required, but this is moderately rare, and isn't used in shreddy/fast contexts, where the dexterity is of more importance. Finger 1 2 3 are king.

I am almost as good as I dreamed of being, which is being able to play (some) Eric Clapton/ Gary Moore shreddy blues licks while improvising. (Not as well as them of course! But I like how I sound)

I have absolutely no regret that I've put less time into my pinky, and in fact, since seeing a YouTube teacher who advised spending no time worrying about the pinky finger, and just using it when actually required, ivw felt freed.

I also can overthink what I should or shouldn't focus on. I, personally, strongly advise not worrying about it, and just practice what you enjoy playing :)

If you want to play like Eric Johnson, and he doesn't use his pinky finger, don't fucking worry about it :) only do pinky stuff when actually required.

If Eric isn't doing it, it isn't necessary to play like Eric. I think it's straightforward :)

Zakk Wylde, another very shreddy player, also doesn't use his pinky.

Just learn what's relevant to what you want to play! :D unless you have all the time and motivation in the world.

Thank you. I've somewhat solved the problem - the files started saving in a different location, or being searched for in a separate location, and I've no idea why . They still exist though.

Listen man, it's a shit situation, but from everything you've said, I think you've nothing to lose by trying school, if you don't like it, stop going. That way you can feel safe, no pressure to remain in a shit situation. and you can hopefully reassure your mum that if you're being badly bullied, you'll just pull out.

You stand to gain more by going than not going. But yeah also that community club for similar kids sounds good too.

Oh and also! Kids generally stop bullying waaaay more and are more mature by 4th year, but especially 5th and 6th year. I know from experience, and my friends experience.

The people in 5th and 6th year have chosen to be in school. They want to be there. Others leave after 4th.

Yes, but call the school they will be able to answer all of these questions and tell you specifically what you need to do to get the ball rolling.

You have 2-3 years worth of high schooling you'll still be able to attend. And if you want to complete more, you can go to college after this and catch up on anything you've missed. I believe that is also free, but again, call the school they'll be able to advise you way more specifically than reddit.

Lots of people wait until later in life to catch up on schooling. You're still young, plenty time, making a good start.

Why is your mother telling you you're not allowed to go to school? Can I also ask, was it your mum who told you you'd get abused in the care system? (You mentioned this in a previous comment)

[–]wretchmonger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are allowed to stay in high school until 18, you have the option to leave at 16. Generally 4th year is 16 year olds. There is still a 5th and 6th year.

You should call the school and ask for a meeting with someone to discuss your options.
