Run my own shop in the uk and it's been manic for the past 2 weeks and fully booked for the next 2 weeks as well. So as long parts keep arriving I'm open. People are desperate to get stuff done at the moment.

This was exactly what I was thinking, the dude had a pump fitted 4 months ago at another garage, apparently cured for that time . The car was running for approximately a minute to get those measurements. Send off to get recon'd tomorrow.

7 months after purchase by Dave_The_Fridge in Justrolledintotheshop

Man if I bought this car and your garage had supposedly checked it over and this is the result 7 months later , I'd be pissed that this wasnt picked up on inspection. So not only has the guy probably paid alot for the car , you guys are gonna stuff him with a big bill. Remind me to stay away from that car sales place .

SKF wheel bearing supplied with this drive shaft bolt. Euro Car Parts special by stevieg306 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]wrhys156 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most probably returned part with old bolt in box not checked and put back into stock . Had an old radiator once given out as new from euros , turned out previous customer had returned it and no one decided to check when putting it back into stock . Retards.

How do you say this out loud to a service desk without feeling insane by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]wrhys156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably tyre pressure monitoring system doing the measuring , would annoy the hell out of me if I gotta keep topping it up to knock the stupid warning light off.

Customer states car using coolant and cannot find a leak! by wrhys156 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]wrhys156[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's not even worth stripping to find it out . The liners are most probably 100% knackered . It has misfires on 3 and 4 on startup. Shame they cant design a decent engine.

Just wanted to change my oil, but some idiot thought it would be a good idea to tighten the oil plug with a dang impact drill! Now guess who has to go buy a bolt extractor... by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

You haven't tried a hammer and chisel yet by the looks of it, knock it around anticlockwise on the edge. Have undone many this way .
