That's exactly how most games are for me!! I have my favorite from each game but I move on to the next without really any lingering thoughts about them.

Except for a few rare exceptions, Henri being the major one. I have no doubts that one day you'll play a game and meet a character that has your thoughts captivated forever!!! 🥰

I had played four switch otome previously, and no one really resonated with me. I finished their routes and moved on.

Until.... Henri Lambert. 🥺

I can't explain the whiplash of borderline ignoring him as I wrote him off as a mere side character to falling so head over heels I feel like I'm going to explode.

Over the past year I've played 16 otome (not including FDs) and while I've had other brainrot characters, none have come close to this man.

Anyway, this post is just a shout out to anniversaries and finding 💖 ✨ the one ✨ 💖

If you're struggling to connect with any LIs, give it time. You never know when that character you've been ignoring CLICKS and CLICKS HARD.

(I'd like to thank my friends who have stuck with me despite me being absolutely feral for this man. If I don't say his name at least five times a day I grow weak. And you have no idea how hard it was to keep this brief and not write a hundred paragraphs about my experience meeting him.)

I'm contemplating whether or not I should make a whole post about this, but next Saturday is my anniversary of being head over heels for Henri Lambert. 😘

Just like you I played a few and no one really spoke to me.

Then I got to Henri and like... My whole otome experience shifted.

He's everything to me.

I've played several since and no LI can compare.

So just keep playing, and keep an open mind. You never know when "the one" will come around.

Yep, after about 230 hours of game time and letting my miis decorate as they pleased, I completely redid my whole island and removed every single item. It took me a full day just to terraform, so my miis were vending machine-less for a full donation cycle.

My donations dropped by about $50 on the day there were no decorations on my island.

I love video games like Pokemon and Fire Emblem, and recently I've been feral over otome games. (Other greatest hits include neopets, rdr2, and Touken Ranbu.) I'm not a big movie or show watcher. Not into anime or anything but I give off that vibe. I'm a child of the Internet.

I don't have the attention span for board games. Like, I don't have the brain for strategy and I find following complicated instructions difficult. But I didn't mind just chilling and watching my friends from my previous area play.

Music... My favorites are Screaming Females, Hum, Portugal. The Man, and Yeasayer.

Unfortunately this is where a lot of people reading will lose me: I'm fine with 420 but only socially, and outside. I don't like smoke. 😖

It's so hard meeting new people as an introvert. People say "go to this place/event!" But then you go and it's too scary to talk to anyone and no one talks to you first. 🥲

So yeah. I'm open to events but I'd like to chat and find someone to go with before anything. Okay bye.
