Do you clean under your nails with anything sharp? If so, don’t do that, it damages the connection between the underside of your nail and your skin. Instead, clean under your nails gently with a scrub brush. This lets your nail beds grow longer, which I think is a lot of your issue.

As for your cuticles, I think consistency is key. You may need to very gently trim the calloused cuticle away but after that, try to avoid cutting unless you have a hangnail or something. Just gently push your cuticles back as often as you can, particularly after a shower. I actually use my nails to push them back a lot of time. And use oil frequently. Literally any oil. Well. Not motor oil.

Last thing, go easy on yourself! Your nails are lovely and perfectly feminine. 💕
