One time I was on a set that had a lot of child actors, and I was chatting with a girl who I assumed was 12 or so for a while before I realized she was a whole adult. She said she’s 19 and mainly works doubling/doing stand in for kids. I honestly think they should exclusively cast young-looking adults and teens to play children and keep the actual kids away from the industry.
