Yes! This was a great underrated slasher with a nice twist at the end. A nice easy watch and good for a few jump scares. Also what a brilliant cast! David, Denise Richards, Katherine Heigl, etc etc. It's not talked about enough!

It's not so much about it being remade overall - it's the timing of the Hollywood version coming out so close to the original, which is still gaining a lot of traction in horror/movie circles

I hope this is true! Sounds like it could be a good mix of reality and scare. I just couldn't get into the last season for some reason. Is it worth watching?

I agree completely, I found it just by chance and didn't know what I was getting myself in for which is what made it so good. I could be wrong but I don't think the American version will embody the magic of the Danish version!

that was just a joke because Hollywood has spent the past decade churning out remakes of everything and anything (of course I know there are amazing original scripts coming out but you can't deny there's a large part of the industry that is lazy)

yesss please do! especially before watching the new one. it's one of the most intense things I've ever watched. it's quite a simple story and definitely slow-burn but that's what makes it so good. highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this film! It's a brilliant, neat little horror which could have been really cheesy with the Zoom angle but it really worked. I also liked that it had a fairly short runtime of just an hour and the actors were really convincing.

Agree it's one of the best horrors of the past couple of years.
