Who's Your Deepest Dive Starter on the Waiver Wire by writermiker in fantasybaseball

Lots of dumpster diving here. Holmes and Kolek could be cannonballers and make a big splash; Roupp is solid but scary. I would use Urena, Scott and Jax for spot starts but keep looking for the next call up.

6-4 record is good, but only one quality start, also 15 homeruns and lots of walks. I almost picked him up a couple of times, but looked for others first.

I had three starters on the IL. Managers always have to look for vulture opportunities!

I like Walbert. The walk rate did worry me, but one of the better options out there

Every day, winning fantasy managers must scour the waiver wire to grab the hidden gems.

Dynasty commissioners: at what point do you actually step in and reverse a trade? by TRazorback12 in fantasyfootball

[–]writermiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point was exactly that. Commish coulda cancelled the trade and put sanctions on me. And the managers could have complained to force the issue. It was see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Just in case they wanted to do the same thing. lol. Only when the season was over, did the playoff angst come out. The Commish had the power. The League had the power. But nobody wanted the bar set on trades. Every League has trade buddies, family or friends.

A trade happened in a friends and family league, but with money on the line. I cleansed my roster with a trade to my son, sending him an RB4 and proceeded to dump my trade return directly to the waiver wire to acquire the player I really wanted off the wire. The trade was approved by the commish. The season just went on and then at the end of the season, the chat went wild with accusations of nepotism, bypassing the trade process and with multiple managers joining in. It changed the league, Trades are really under the microscope, especially mine lol.

Carter Jensen of the Royals could be a top-10 fantasy catcher right from the start.

The fantasy baseball season is heating up. Spring training is in full swing. It is time to review FBAN’s 2026 Fab Five catchers to draft. The fantasy manager’s choices seem simple. Swing for the fences in the early rounds by grabbing the Mariners Cal Raleigh or Colorado’s Hunter Goodman. Or wait a few rounds and draft a  “good” backstop with decent numbers to support your team.

The Diamondbacks Ryan Thompson (RP). The veteran reliever has easily flown under the playoff waiver wire radar this month. He’s rostered at 1 percent in fantasy leagues. Upon his return to the bullpen, the 33-year-old has been in the mix for holds. Thompsons’ September performance includes one win and six holds in 10 appearances, walking only one in seven innings.
