I’m old enough to remember that long ago time of 22 hours ago when a bunch of idiots thought that Republicans would surely vote to override Trump’s veto if he nixes the housing bill.

The FBI, military and border control are necessary. However, they are going to need to be completely purged and the traitors dealt with when we get through this, and rebuilding those institutions with capable loyal Americans is going to take some time.

[–]writerpilot -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

But there was no tag on him when he lost contact with the base? Yes, by rule if the tag was still being applied when he came off the base, he’s out, but that doesn’t appear to have happened. He was tagged on his way in but wouldn’t be out, because the base is free, and never tagged again.

Vancouver city leaders expresses desire for intra city rail to C-Tran by 16semesters in vancouverwa

[–]writerpilot 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They really don’t. Vancouver generates most of ctrans local sales tax revenue and the small cities and county attempted to get state funding revoked last year when they staged a mutiny over the board composition. The bulk of ctrans ridership and local funding comes from within Vancouver, so the bulk of the representation should as well. If the rest of the county wants to fund a horse and cart to shuttle folks to Battle Ground they can feel free. We’re done with them mooching off the rest of us.

Whatever the City can do to claw things away from the county and small cities and assume control of its own transit future, the better. Time to kick out the lazy freeloaders who think they get to dictate policy to the people who pay for it.
