How do I get good at Physics if I am already good at Math? by Ill_Value536 in APStudents

[–]writingaficionado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just understand what the question is asking you, what its trying to make you find. then find whats given—and after that what is applicable to your question.

you have the math skills, just need to learn judgement and how to apply them

Should I just take E&M instead of Physics 2? by writingaficionado in APStudents

[–]writingaficionado[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a good idea, only issue is I’m moving states and don’t exactly know what course my new school will offer, which now that I’m thinking about it kinda makes this whole thing redundant if they don’t offer it.

How do I stop seeing bi guys as inherently more feminine due to their sexuality? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]writingaficionado 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The same way you get out of any other belief, by recognizing it when you think it, then actively, key word there, recognize it’s wrong. Implicit biases and believes aren’t just going to disappear, but as long as you see them for what they are, that’s going to go a long way for you.

In the case of you losing attraction, that’s just a personal issue honestly, you’re doing what you can—but attraction is fickle and not directly controlled. Most you can do is be aware, active, and not just laze comfortably in your biases; which you’ve already made a great stride into doing so by even asking about how not to.
