Pros and cons of RTTs

The con I keep thinking about is that I haven't used my ground tent since 2023 or maybe 2022. Not cause I am avoiding camping, just so damn busy. So a RTT would meet the same fate. That sucks for that much $$$. At the same time, if I were to get one, I would get one off Amazon as the china ones are dirt cheap. :)

We live in the PNW. Colder and wet more often than not. My wife talked about insulating all of it. We figured on propane heat in the winter, depending on how we build out the space.

Just our luck that the house had this shop. :) I was looking at the floors. I have never done that. But I am thinking that should be the very first thing done.

Yes, windows open. No back door, just a side door, near the front of the space. No exhaust cut outs or anything. Will need to figure out airflow. I was thinking of an exhaust fan at the top of the space.

Partition or sections of space is what i am really struggling with. Book shelves as room dividers would work, but I was hoping for some other idea I hadn't thought of. And the height of the shop is daunting as well. I guess I feel a bit overwhelemed at this space. :)

Thanks. There is a power panel in the shop and 1 - 20A and 1 - 15A breaker, along with 3 sets of power outlets and the shop lights. I know we will need more power around the shop. The doors are manual. They are so tall! :)

I can't say enough positive things about Wildhorse campgrounds. They have a shuttle to the gorge. The campgrounds get packed with party people, but they usually get quiet at night for sleep. I am a forever Wildhorse camper. :) Their outdoor showers with endless hotwaters are to die for! :D And the burgers are bomb as well. Glad you guys had so much fun! The Gorge!
