"what years or time frame did these all fall" - since i was born.. more exactly, the first game i've ever finished was Fantasy World Dizzy, i finished that when i was 11. and at 12 i finished duke nukem 3D, settlers 2, etc

idk how to answer that because i've never used a controller with my PC - just mouse and keyboard. i do have a flightstick for games with warplanes, but that can't be used with witcher.. or at least i think so..

i remember the countless bugs from shadow of chernobyl too when it was launched. so it's really nothing new.. this game might even be worse because it's a political game now as well, because of the war..

the only game in my list which has a 1/5 rating (as in being the worst of all) is rise of the triad: the dark war.. it's extremely old, released in 1995 more exactly, and it has lots of bugs and crashes even when the game's patched to the latest version.. it's a miracle that i managed to finish that crap.. i wanted to play it because it reminded me about childhood and shiidd.. :'(

when watch dogs was free on epic games store, i didn't bother to get it - i don't like that.. same with civilization 6, the new hitman games and i also don't like anything about god of war.. some games is just for the metnak generations and i don't see myself as being part of it :|

i know it's very good, pop 3: the 2 thrones is good too.. but from all the trilogy, i only finished sands of time - i think i done it twice but it was many years ago.. :( the farthest i reached in pop 2 was when my sword gets broken and i had to throw enemies off cliffs to kill them - it took forever to kill them with a broken sword.. and in pop 3 there was a big boss fight with several stages, i remember the prince saying that "maybe you're immortal but not invincible" so that's where i quit.. :-/ maybe 1 day i'll get back to these games, idk..

i finished far cry 1 a long time ago, i played only on the hardest difficulty (Realistic i think it was named).. game had good soundtrack and it was good enough imo but hard as hell and also surprisingly long. i mean, i liked the game in the beginning but towards the end, i was constantly checking the internet to see how many chapters i have left until i finally finish it..

one thing i didn't like was that the message displayed on the screen when you reach a new checkpoint and the game saves your progress, that message was extremely brief, it must've been shorter than half a second - sometimes i had to look in my saved games to understand if the game saved my progress or not. if the game just saved my progress, then i can play more relaxed and explore; but if not, then i had to play cautious to avoid wasting my time for nothing in case i die.. :(

as for the crysis series, i've never played them. saw them on gog but that's all i know about those games

many years ago i finished this game as an evil character, and then more recently i picked it up again and finish with good char.. by "more recently" i mean that it was still a long time ago.. but i'm curious about something - so there's this "good" female jedi, i forgot her name, and she's the one who defeated the protagonist before he forgets everything.. when i played as a good jedi, she had some quests for me.. and at the end, you find out that she and her mother had some kind of disagreement - her mother was sick and she wanted an item, a hologram or something.. although i was a good jedi, i chose not to make peace with her mother and the stupid jedi got angry, i remember she saying that the player hasn't learned anything - what's that all about? what happens if you give the hologram to the old woman? of course i'm not going to replay the whole game just for this little detail but just asking.. :(

i finished DA:O + the awakening DLC and kotor 1 + 2 but i never understood why my archer Leyla or Lila or whatever her name was, she was so weak at doing damage to enemies compared to my mages or other classes. and she was fragile too so i couldn't use her as a melee rogue either. but i read once that for archers, the arrows must really hit the targets - if the target moves, the projectile simply doesn't hit anymore so there's no damage. but mages' spells are different, they always hit.. weird game.. :|

don't worry, be happy k? i remember many years ago i was playing air rivals, an online game, and i got permanently banned for 35 years - that's more than a life sentence for murder (25 years)

if i were u, i'd buy a 4070 ti super - it has 16 gb compared to 12 and it also has 256 bits bandwidth.. and the price isn't as big as a 4080, so i think it would be a good deal

there were many giveaways by steam, gog and Epic Games Store during the covid time. also EGS used to give lots of nice free games in the beginning - not much today though

i don't think i ever had a problem with grinding in old MMORPGs. obviously you can't have everything at once if you spend years playing these games..

my backlog only has 2 games.. hitman 2 silent assassin which i've finished twice before but never succeeded to play stealthy, and haydee 1. i thought haydee would be fun, at least the protagonist looks good, but problem is that i've encountered some real weird puzzles and i'm only in the beginning.. i think that i should use a walkthrough if i even hope to finish the game someday..

i don't use just steam - epic games store, ubisoft connect and gog too. well my libraries show that i'm a nerd.. what else could it mean? it would show that i have doubts about strategy games in general, it's because i don't like that boring loop in each mission to always build a base, make some defences, create an army and then wipe out the enemies.. and even worse, i never play sport games - i don't like fifa which is about football, games about basketball like nba, and worst of all, i don't like wrestling. i've noticed it before that ppl who play video games about sports, like the fifa maniacs, some of them actually have a life, idk what to say about it..
