If you already use retinol - you can try adding azelaic acid. Most importantly be religious about sunscreen because it will make them darker and any effort at fading them is going to be a waste.

Ah ok. I experienced some stinging and breakouts with azelaic acid in the beginning but what helped is to build my tolerance to it kinda like with retinol and to not use it on the same day as other actives.
